I'm a beauty editor and these are the Amazon Prime Day sale picks that I always repurchase
These Amazon Prime Day beauty buys are a must for me
When it comes to Amazon Prime Day, beauty product savings aren't what usually come to mind among the many tech, gadget and household deals that are on offer. But being a beauty editor, I of course can't wait to see what bits I can get my hands on.
Despite being very fortunate to be able to try lots of new beauty products every year—from the newest perfumes for women and the best face sunscreens to the best foundations and vitamin C serums—there are a few beauty staples that have me in such a chokehold I can't help but repurchase them.
However, not being accustomed to parting with my salary for beauty products, I look for every deal, offer and saving that I can whenever repurchasing my faves. So these are all the skincare, makeup, hair and fragrance bits that I save for the Amazon Prime Day sale...
Beauty-editor approved Amazon Prime Day picks
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum: was $26.79 now $18.88 (save $7.91) | Amazon
I have constantly dehydrated skin, so I am a sucker for the best hyaluronic acid serums, and this one is definitely up there with the very best.
Thin thin, lightweight formula is what makes this serum as it absorbs straight into the skin and has a super quenching effect—plus it's unscented, which makes it feel really fresh.
L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum: was $19.99 now $12.35 (save $7.64) | Amazon
This is one of those "never knew I needed it" products. I tried it for a review, but from the first time I wore it, it became an everyday staple for me.
The lightweight tint glides onto skin for a fresh and glowy finish that doesn't come with any unwanted shine. It's the perfect way to finish off your face on a casual makeup day and has become a WFH must for me.
Decades of misunderstanding around curly hair types left me so unused to wearing my hair naturally, but recent waves in the curly hair industry has allowed me the flexibility to work more with my natural curls (read: frizzy waves).
One such product is this defining duo from Pacifica, which uses hyaluronic acid to hydrate the hair and leave curls defined without weighing them down. It significantly reduces my frizz and leaves my curls slightly tousled and wavy rather than fluffy and messy. Plus the formulas boast the most gorgeous pineapple scent that transports me straight to a sunny island.
Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm: was $24 now $19.20 (save $4.80) | Amazon
There are so many different ways to remove your makeup, and while I love the ease of a reusable face cloth, I tend to lean towards a cleansing oil or balm—especially during busy periods when I'm wearing a lot of eye makeup.
This melting balm not only removes eye makeup effectively, but it's really delicate on both the skin and the eyes and it doesn't leave that blurry sheen in the eyes that some other cleansing oils do.
L’Oreal Paris Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water: was $10.99 now $9.87 (save $1.12) | Amazon
I can't get through a hair-wash day without picking up this gem. Up until my mid-20s I had the silkiest, most shiny hair, but after I started coloring it I struggled to get it past the dry and tangled stage.
Enter the 8-Second Wonder Water. Thanks to its blend of moisturizers and amino acids, after an 8-10 second massage into my lengths and a quick detangling brush, my hair is left super soft and smooth and my shine is back. A must for anyone with dry or damaged hair.
Another Hydro Boost fave, this moisturizer is perfect for using in the spring and summer months, as it features a gel formula that hydrates the skin fully without leaving a thick, occlusive finish.
It's lightweight formula soaks into skin, leaving a fresh and comfortable finish that creates a perfect base for sunscreen and/or makeup.
