April astrology events 2022 to note:
1. The new moon
- April 1, 2022
If you've wondered when is the next new moon, you'll be pleased to know we're starting the month with positive vibes thanks to this refreshing lunation.
"Aries energy is ready to pioneer and move forward with enthusiasm, so the April 2022 new moon will feel like a huge burst of energy as we enter a new lunar cycle," says astrologer Liz Simmons.
Who's ready to take it all in?
2. The full moon
- April 16, 2022
Don't expect la bella luna to be as kind as it was at the start of the month.
When is the next full moon is not necessarily something you'll want to ponder, considering the intense T-square configuration with the Sun, Moon and Pluto. The Pink Moon will be a wild ride (but beautiful).
"Since we are bound to feel very raw, this lunation brings a fabulous time to do some deep psychological work by focusing on any healing practices that deal with the subconscious mind," says astrologer Narayana Montúfar, author of Moon Signs: Unlock Your Inner Luminary Power.
3. Stellium in Pisces
- April 26, 2022
One of the more favorable astrology events in 2022, Stellium in Pisces has piqued everyone's interest.
The happening takes place when three-plus planets are grouped together in the same sign. In this case, Jupiter, Neptune, Venus, the Moon, Mars and asteroid Juno will all be in Pisces.
"It's a really good lineup for following one's dreams," Montúfar says. "Focus on romance, dating, creativity, rest—everything that's not about working."
4. Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces
- April 12, 2022
One of our favorite water signs is spreading the love this April.
When Jupiter and Neptune join forces in Pisces on the 12th, Montúfar insists this is the perfect time to embrace your dreams. It'll bring creativity, compassion and inspiration, making it the perfect time to bring those fantasies to reality.
If you have a passion project you've been noodling, it's officially go-time.
5. Taurus season
- April 19 to May 20, 2022
Taurus season, which is ruled by Venus, makes this time of the year particularly exciting when it comes to matters of the heart. In fact, it's one of the best times to manifest love in 2022.
Astrologer Renée Watt recommends embracing it all: "Taurus season is perfect for glamming yourself up, but it's also awesome for sexy, sensual dates. Go out to fancy dinners, wear luxurious fabrics and splurge on a new fragrance that you find attractive."
6. Pluto retrograde
- April 29, 2022
We've enjoyed roughly two-and-a-half blissful months of being retrograde-free.
But, come the end of April, Pluto retrograde will get things moving (backward) again. The first planet that goes retrograde is Pluto, and given that it's so far out, we won't feel its presence quite as much.
Consider this a precursor to the second Mercury retrograde 2022, which will arrive on May 10. Remember, we get four Mercury retrogrades this year instead of the usual three. (Oh fun!)
7. Partial solar eclipse
- April 30, 2022
Eclipse season is here, folks. Here's hoping we can soak up that Taurus energy during this moon phase.
