Are SZA and Travis Scott *actually* dating? Here's a deep dive into those rumors

Are SZA and Travis Scott actually dating? The hitmakers have been the subject of some wild romance rumors in recent weeks—but are they actually an item or is this all just pure speculation? 

2023 has truly ushered in an era of unexpected celebrity couples, from murmurings around Gigi Hadid dating Leonardo DiCaprio, to Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny and even Megan Thee Stallion and Romelu Lukaku. And now it seems, we have another viral romance theory on our hands, but this time between SZA and Travis Scott.

As fans will know, Travis was previously in a relationship with Kylie Jenner (we didn't see these Kylie and Timothée Chalamet dating rumors coming either), with whom he shares two children—Stormi and Aire—but after a certain surprise performance, fans are convinced he's moved on...

Are SZA and Travis Scott actually a thing?

Despite fans welcoming these romance rumors with open arms (see what we did there?), neither SZA nor Travis have confirmed or even addressed these claims. So, where on earth did they come from?

Well, while fans have been quote-on-quote 'shipping' the pair for some time now, the rumor mill really started spinning after Travis made a number of appearances on the European leg of SZA's 'SOS' tour. The speculation was then fuelled further with his most recent surprise performance at her Manchester show, at the beginning of June. 

In one particular TikTok clip, which shows the duo singing 'Love Galore' together on stage—and now has over 400 thousand likes—fans raced to the comments to share their theories on their 'relationship'.

One fan wrote: "There's no way he going to all her shows and they js friends."

While another quipped: "They don't think we know...but girl we KNOW." Several others also commented saying: "They complement each other so well."

Twitter has been equally inundated with reactions to the dating claims—as one tweeted: "SZA AND TRAVIS SCOTT?????"

However, it does seem there's a bit of wishful thinking at play here, as apart from the string of tour appearances and musical collabs, there's not much else to go on. 

So, until there are some new sightings or confirmation from the two artists, we should assume that they're single but as always, we'll keep you in the loop!
