After finally receiving the answer to whether Otis and Maeve are endgame in Sex Education season 4, you might find yourself wondering about Asa Butterfield's girlfriend sitch IRL.

Yep, back in 2021, when Otis and Ruby (Mimi Keene) struck up their unlikely relationship in Sex Education season 3, fans were convinced that something might have been going on off-screen too.

Alas though, this seemed to be a bit of wishful thinking as nothing came of the rumors, nor did Asa or Mimi give any indication that their relationship was anything other than platonic...In other slightly unrelated news though, Mimi Keene's makeup routine has just dropped and we're obsessed.

As for Asa's love life in general, the actor has previously implied that he'll be keeping those details private, adding in an interview with GQ when asked if he wants to clue fans in on his single status: "No, I want to keep them guessing." So, there you have it, even if there was some Asa girlfriend news, he probably wouldn't tell us anyway...
