The Emily Ratajkowski workout routine is surprisingly relatable
"I'm not a big gym person," the model has confessed on more than one occasion
We'll admit, the Emily Ratajkowski workout routine had us a bit intimidated. But as it turns out, the model, actor, author and Pete Davidson enthusiast has an all-too relatable exercise schedule...in that she doesn't actually have one.
"I am not a big gym person," she confessed to InStyle.
What's more, she loves to snag pastry with her daily cup of coffee, a habit we can totally get behind. Despite not having that Equinox membership, there are ways in which the Gone Girl star keeps healthy and active, and we have a feeling you'll like what she has to say.
For more celeb-inspired fitness regimens, the Taylor Swift workout routine takes a fun and playful approach, which, needless to say, is a crowd-pleaser. If you're in need of something a little more vigorous, opt for the intensive Kourtney Kardashian workout routine and combine some of the ab-focused Kendall Jenner workout into the mix.
Emily Ratajkowski workout routine: everything fitness buffs want to know
So how exactly does Ratajkowski make it work so well? There are a few important tidbits to note.
1. She takes it outside
Rather than being cooped up indoors, the model would rather take the scenic route when exercising.
"I really like being outside and doing yoga, so I do a lot of hiking in L.A. and I have a yoga studio really close to my house that I go to like once a week," she said.
Considering the likes of the Hot Girl Walk and the 12/3/30 workout routine have garnered major popularity this year, there's something to be said about a brisk walk or hike.
"Anything that motivates us to get out the door, gets us in the fresh air is always a positive thing," running coach and expert Elizabeth "Corky" Corkum previously told My Imperfect Life. "If we can go into that and unplug from distractions, it's a win-win."

2. She finds a friend
Curious how to motivate yourself to work out? Have someone hold you accountable.
"I'm one of those people who, if I go to the gym by myself, there's a 50/50 chance of me actually working out and really pushing myself, so the class environment works really, really well for me," she further revealed to InStyle.
3. She does what she likes
OK, so Ratajkowski admitted that she does not have a definite fitness schedule and plans workouts when she's not on the job. (Understandable—we do the same.) Even with a hectic schedule, she she prioritizes what she likes, which is half the battle.
"If your fitness routine does not excite you, it’s time to find movements and a structure that removes the risk of losing motivation again," Joanna Dase, a fitness expert at Curves, previously told My Imperfect Life.
4. She sticks to a diet
Despite those cupcakes and morning danishes, Ratajkowski is mindful of her intake.
"You know, I'm a carnivore," she told Elle. "I really like to eat meat. I crave iron so I am definitely not the kind of person who you will often find eating a plain salad. I like to keep it really balanced to give my body energy and also be healthy."'
Though she oftentimes finds herself eating out or on the job, she admitted to enjoying cooking so that she knows what goes into a dish, making it all the more healthy.
"Just really think about where things are coming from and what kind of ingredients are going into your body," she added in her interview with Elle.

5. She doesn't forget the basics
A healthy dose of H2O and a good night's rest should not go unnoticed.
"[Before bed], I chug water and take off my make-up," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I sleep the best in my own bed, which is too bad because I'm not sleeping in my bed enough."

6. Turn to TikTok

Unsurprisingly, fitness influencers have gained attention for attempting routines that will equate to Ratajkowski's physique. @kaylaiutzwig posts plenty of celeb workout-inspired videos to her feed that you can emulate.
Do be warned: TikTok exercise tips can be fun and informative, but should you have questions about a particular movement—or if you don't feel comfortable attempting something alone—consult a professional.
