This is the easy at-home treatment Hailey Bieber does for facial sculpting—and no, it doesn't require a fancy tool
Hailey Bieber just gave us a facial massage 101 and we're forever grateful...
Known for her affinity for all things skincare—not to mention her own beauty brand, Rhode—Hailey Bieber just gave us a glimpse into her at-home, facial sculpting regime and we're officially following her tutelage.
Facial massaging has become quite the buzzword within the beauty community as of late, with experts including it in their skincare routine and heralding the exercise for its toning, depuffing and tension-relieving effects. Tools from cryotherapy ice globes to traditional, quartz gua shas, have become a staple in many of our morning and nighttime routines—but as skincare queen herself, Hailey Bieber proves, you don't have to use a fancy tool to reap the rewards.
Here's what the model does first thing, to promote all that lymphatic drainage goodness and ensure all her skin prep has soaked in...
Hailey Bieber's go-to facial sculpting routine
While we already know Hailey Bieber loves this NuFace face tool, the 'glazed donut' manicure muse revealed in her 'Inside My Beauty Bag' video for Harper's Bazaar, that she doesn't go overboard with tools and only uses them when she's having a self-care day or her skin needs some extra TLC.
Instead, Hails opts for her hands, to massage and work in all her face lotions and potions (p.s. we hear she's a big fan of peptides, which are a 2023 trending skincare ingredient). Taking to TikTok, Hailey showed us her 'shoot day' skin prep, where she initially used a tool—the Medicube Booster H from Amazon, to be exact—before then going in with her hands for an easy, soothing, depuffing facial.

As we can see, she starts by rubbing up and down either side of her nose bridge with her middle finger, before then sweeping her fingers underneath her cheekbones. If you're wanting to follow along with Hailey, ensure that your skin is moisturized or use a serum—like the best hyaluronic serums—before massaging, to avoid tugging your skin.
She then rubs up along both sides of her jawline and up into her cheekbones, repeating this move several times, before using her knuckles to massage her cheeks in circular motions. She then followed up with her Rhode Barrier Restore cream (also applying it to her neck—never forget the neck!) and new 'Glazing' milk.
To follow Hailey's lead, you can just use your hands and fingertips, with your fave creams and serums, or you can, of course, still opt for a tool—like our beauty editor's go-to, the Therabody Theraface Pro—for an effective at-home facial.
