The pair have been linked since March 2022 and after they stepped out on the red carpet together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, interest in the pair has only grown. So, here's everything we know about Halle's current dating sitch...

So, are DDG and Halle Bailey still dating? Yes, the two are an item.

The pair were first linked in January 2022 after they were spotted attending one of Usher's Las Vegas shows, before confirming their relationship in March after DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) shared a very loved-up birthday tribute to the songstress on Instagram. (Guess that Usher show was a bit different than Keke Palmer's experience...)

In his post, which has since been deleted, he wrote: "Happy Birthday to the beautifulest, the flyest, the sweetest ❤️ love you forever 🥺💎 @hallebailey" (as per Cosmo.) After his public declaration, Halle then went on to star in one of DDG's music videos for 'If I Want You' in August 2022.

Since then, they've made a number of red-carpet appearances together, though split rumors did being to circulate in February 2023. Thankfully, the pair all but quashed the speculation after rocking up to the Vanity Fair Oscar's after-party—where sheer dresses were the moment—together in March 2023. 

Along with their cute red carpet appearances, the pair are also very supportive of each other's careers, especially when it comes to Halle's role as Ariel in the live-action remake of Disney's The Little Mermaid. DDG told People: "I'm very proud of her. And I'm just happy to see it. I feel like sometimes I'm even more excited than anybody else. Just seeing it and seeing everything that she dreamed of coming to life, it's really dope."

During a press tour for The Little Mermaid, Bailey told People: "I feel like things change when love gets more involved in your life. I have definitely discovered more within myself as a woman. It's a really cool thing to go through, but a transformative experience."

But some of those press moments and big-screen scenes seemingly did not sit well with the rapper, whose song "Famous" is allegedlly about the jealousy he feels seeing his girlfriend on-screen with other men. (Jonah Hauer-King plays Eric in The Little Mermaid remake.) Lyrics include: 

"Filmin' a movie now you kissing dudes /
You know I love you a lot /
I don't give a f--- if that s--- for promo /
I don't wanna see this s--- no more.”

The comments did not sit terribly well with Bailey's fanbase, but the two are still trudging on, and some had suspected that they were even taking the next step and expanding their family due to the actor's oversized outfits seen on her social media page. The actor's sister, Chloe Bailey, took to Instagram Stories to address the rumors in August 2023. 

'Y’all better keep my sister’s name out your mouth," she said. "Thank you. Amen, hallelujah. Bout to get me riled the hell up. Anyways…"

So it looks like despite a few rumors and naysayers, the two are carrying on.
