The recent episodes introduce viewers to a fresh location—Sicily, Italy—as well as a new cast of The White Lotus season 2, which includes incomers Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Adam DiMarco and returning veteran Jennifer Coolidge. And like in The White Lotus season 1, there are oblivious vacationers in opulent surroundings, with a stab of satire poking fun at each and every one of them.

How many episodes in 'White Lotus' season 2 are there?
Good news, The White Lotus fans: we're getting more episodes this season than last.
Where The White Lotus season pone consisted of six hour-long episodes—the show was initially conceived as a limited series but after the success of the first season, it was renewed as an anthology—the second season boasts seven hour-long episodes. Hopefully, that extra sixty minutes will give us enough time to figure out who dies in The White Lotus, since a mysterious dead body was introduced in the premiere episode.
The first episode of The White Lotus season 2 debuted on HBO and HBO on Sunday, October 30. Here is the full schedule and title breakdown of all of the season 2 episodes:

When do new episodes of 'White Lotus' come out?
New episodes of The White Lotus season 2 air on Sunday nights at 9 pm Eastern Time on HBO and HBO Max in the US. In the UK, British viewers can catch the show live at 3 am GMT on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the early Monday morn or stream it any time they want on the platform the day after the original US air date.

How many seasons of 'White Lotus' will there be?
The White Lotus season 2 only just started and yet writer-director-creator Mike White already has a potential third season on the brain.
“We just turned in our last episode [of the second season] to the network yesterday, so it’s hard to think about the next race,” White told Deadline. “But if we did, I think it’d be fun to maybe go to a whole different continent. You know, we did Europe, and maybe Asia, something crazy like that, that would be fun.”
Though the show has switched out both the location and the majority of its cast between seasons one and two, one fan-favorite mainstay has been actress Jennifer Coolidge, who won an Emmy Award for her performance as Tanya McQuoid in the first season and returned as the character, now married, in the show's second. White says if a third season were to happen, Coolidge would be involved.
“Jennifer is my friend and everybody loved her in the first season, and I was like, ‘I can’t go to Italy without Jennifer.’ And maybe that’s still the case. Like, maybe you can’t go to Japan without Jennifer, either. There are so many fun actors we’ve worked with so far, so it’s just kind of like who’s available,” White told the publication.
White also recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he had scrapped some storylines for season 2 and may carry them over to season 3 if picked up. "I might still do it down the road maybe, if they give us a third season, so I don't know if I should say," he said. "Originally, [season 2] was more of like a Bilderberg conference, more about getting into some of the bigger power dynamics there. But Sicily was a totally different vibe than the idea I pitched. That didn't seem right."
The second season was greenlit on August 10, 2021, five days before the season one finale aired, so if a third season does get picked up, we can expect to hear in the weeks to come. Given that The White Lotus has been such a critical and commercial success for HBO—the first season was the most-awarded series at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning ten awards including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Directing for Mike White—a third season would be a safe bet.
