Kendall Jenner's sheer dress and bikini fit is a whole summer 2023 vibe—here's how to get the look

Kendall wore a sheer dress and a bikini, so now we want to wear a sheer dress and bikini...

Kendall Jenner has declared that she's a lover of the sheer dress trend and proved the see-through look isn't just for the red carpet but also for the beach! Here's why we plan to add Kendall Jenner's sheer dress and bikini look to our summer capsule wardrobes...

While Kendall's boyfriend's sitch still remains something of a mystery (are she and Bad Bunny seriously dating, or what?!), her vacation essentials are thankfully not so secret. And though we're already using Kendall Jenner's fashion picks as inspo for our airport outfits, the model and 818 founder has also given us some much-needed styling cues for our next beachy vacay.

Yes, the model showed us exactly how to build a killer fit around a bikini, using just one item of clothing and some 'Quiet Luxury' accessories—here's how to recreate her cool-girl look...

Kendall Jenner's sheer dress and bikini outfit

Taking to Instagram on Monday, May 29, 2023, Kendall gave us major holiday FOMO by sharing a glimpse into her trip to Cannes.

In the carousel, Kendall wore a black string bikini (a favorite in Hailey Bieber's swimwear aesthetic too) with a long sheer black/navy dress overtop. She paired the see-through look with a classic pair of black sunglasses—yes, we also know where to shop Kendall Jenner's sunglasses of choice—along with a large straw bag and some silver huggie hoops.

To complete the fit, she wore a claw clip in her hair (another holiday essential!), while sporting an olive-colored manicure on her fingertips.

The look is simple but so chic and actually, surprisingly versatile, as you can pair this sheer number with a bodysuit and blazer, for example, or wear it with a slip dress underneath and a few spritzes of holiday perfume, for a perfect date night look! And it means you are packing both a beach and evening look all in one.

Everything you need to recreate Kendall's sheer bikini fit

As Kendall is a proven fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's brand The Row, we reckon she could be wearing this sheer The Row Tank Dress (available at Neiman Marcus)—alas, it's pretty pricey.

Luckily though, a sheer dress isn't hard to come by from retailers like ZARA and ASOS. But first things first, you'll need a basic triangle bikini...
