What happened with Khloe Kardashian's face tumor? Here's what we know about KoKo's cancer scare
Here's everything Khloe Kardashian has said about her cancer health scare after being spotted wearing a bandage on her face
Khloe Kardashian truly is the 'photo of resilience' (as she proclaims in The Kardashians season two) as she's just opened up about a recent cancer health scare. The reality star and Good America founder has revealed that a tumor has been removed from her face after pictures of her wearing a bandage on her cheek began making the rounds online. Here’s exactly what happened to Khloe Kardashian...
Before we get into it, we’d like to preface this with the news that Khloe has not been diagnosed with cancer, and has spoken out detailing her experience to remind fans to self-examine and get themselves checked frequently.
After the lovely news broke that KoKo had welcomed her son via a surrogate in July (and no we still don't know her son's name), the mom of two has suffered a pretty terrifying ordeal, after what she thought was a simple zit, turned out to be a tumor.

What happened with Khloe Kardashian's face tumor?
So, as mentioned Khloe took to Instagram to address speculation around recent pictures that show her sporting a bandage on her left cheek.
She explained the cause in a series of IG stories, revealing that she's actually suffered a cancer scare, after what she thought was a pimple turned out to be a tumor.

In one of the stories, she posted a before picture of her face, with clearly shows a red mark above her jawline, which she assumed was a spot—a scarily easy mistake considering its location. However, after seven months of the 'pimple' not budging, she decided to have it biopsied.
The mother of two shared that the mark was found to be a tumor (though she didn’t name what kind) which doctors described ‘incredibly rare’ for someone her age—Khloe is just 38-year-old—before she was then told that the tumor needed to be removed immediately.
She then reassured fans that her surgeon was able to remove the entire tumor and following the procedure, her margins appeared ‘clear’—which is good news! But she did also add that she’s still healing, so fans will likely continue to see her with a bandage and probably a scar or ‘indentation’ on her cheek.

Khloe then wrote: “PS, I am ONLY sharing this story with you so I can remind everyone to get checked and frequently.
“At 19 years old, I had melanoma on my back and I had a surgery to remove that as well. So I am pre-disposed to melanomas. Even those who are not, we should be checking all the time. I am someone who wears sunscreen every single day religiously, so no one is exempt from these things. Please take this seriously and do regular self-exams as well as your annual checkups,”—before she then thanked the healthcare professionals whole helped her.
So, take this as your PSA to buy one of the best sunscreens for your face, if you are not already applying an SPF every day as part of your skincare routine.
