Wondering how many kids Khloé Kardashian has now? Here's your Koko debrief, from her son's name to her surrogacy journey
After KoKo's son made his reality TV debut on The Kardashians season two, you might find yourself wondering just how many kids does Khloé Kardashian have now? And is there any baby name news? Here's what we know...
As fans of The Kardashians on Hulu will know, the first season ended with an explosive cliffhanger as Khloé learned from Kim that her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, was expecting a baby with someone else. As dramatic as this was, little did viewers know that was just the tip of the iceberg—as news soon broke that Khloé and Tristan were also expecting a baby together. The pair welcomed their child via a surrogate in July, following in Khloe's sister Kim's footsteps.
Now with the airing of the second season of the Kardashians, Khloé has addressed the timeline of their surrogacy journey and shared a glimpse at her newborn son and True's younger brother.
But with the evergrowing brood of Kardashians, we get it—it's hard to keep track, so here's the 411 on Khloé's kids...

When was Khloé Kardashian's son born?
On the show, it was announced that Khloe and Tristan had welcomed their son on 22 July 2022, just a week after the world learned the news that the pair were evening having another baby. At the time, fans were undoubtedly confused, as the world had, just months prior, learned that Tristan had been unfaithful to her and was expecting a baby with someone else.
Now though, Khloé has addressed the whole timeline, from when they decided to have another baby, to when she learned the heartbreaking news herself.
Appearing in the first episode of The Kardashians season two, Khloé shared in her confessional that they had gone through with the embryo transfer with a surrogate a only few days before the Tristan Thompson baby scandal broke.
An emotional Khloé said to the crew: “That day when you were shooting with Kim about Tristan, and you guys found out that Tristan was having a baby with somebody else, there was just something I wasn’t ready to talk about," referring to her new baby.
She recalled that in that moment that fans saw at the end of season one, Kim didn’t even know that they had another baby on the way. Khloé explained, “there was a minute, I don’t know, I wasn’t with you guys but from what I could see from watching the finale, I think [Kim] says, ‘If this is not a sign that you should not have another baby with him, I don’t know what it.’
“But you didn’t see this. I think I said, ‘I need to tell you something, take me off speaker—and I told her I said ‘well, we did an embryo transfer a couple of days ago.’”
Khloé then added that they had done the embryo transfer days before Thanksgiving and she found out about Tristan in the ‘first week of December.’
She said: “It’s just so close, I wouldn’t want anyone to think I did this after the fact. Why would I want to have a baby with someone, who’s having a baby with somebody else?”
Throughout the first episode of the season, Khloé was visibly heartbroken over the devastating news of her partner's continuing infidelity, with her family attempting to cheer her up by throwing a baby shower at her mom Kris Jenner's home.
It was towards the end of the episode that Khloé welcomed her new son via surrogate, with camera's following her into the delivery room. Both Khloé and her sister Kim rushed to the hospital, as Khloe and Tristan's son actually arrived early.
The Kardashians star didn't end up revealing her baby boy's name in the episode—it seems like her sister Kylie, she's keeping things private for a little while longer.
Why did Khloé Kardashian use a surrogate?
The new mum-of-two gave birth to her first baby, True Thompson, after conceiving naturally. But this time around, the 38-year-old notably used a surrogate to welcome her son, leaving fans wondering why she made a different decision this time around.
Reportedly, a source close to Khloé told Heat Magazine that the move was made as a 'medical decision'. They said, "There were medical reasons that factored into her decision to use a surrogate, but not putting such a strain on her body was a huge motivation."
While there are reports that Khloé decided on a surrogate in order to maintain her impressive physique, long-time fans of the Kardashians will know of her long-running struggles to fall pregnant.
The star was open about using IVF cycles to fall pregnant with her daughter years ago, and revealed to fans that multiple attempts failed. On Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she was also filmed freezing her eggs, but revealed that they were eventually no longer viable as they didn't make it through the defrosting process.
In the final season of KUWTK, Khloé revealed that she had decided to use a surrogate for her next baby, and explained that she was actively searching for a suitable person to carry out the important job—but that it was proving tricky.
She said, "I thought it would be a much easier process. And it’s not. It’s a very tedious, hard process. And it was interesting because Kim went through the journey, and I swear it felt like she said, 'I want to get pregnant,' and two weeks later she found a surrogate."
Clearly though, she was eventually successful, and her surrogate fell pregnant in November of 2021.
What is Khloé Kardashian son's name?
Much like Kylie Jenner’s son's name, Khloe has also not yet publicly released her baby boy's name, though now he’s made his TV debut maybe the name reveal will soon follow. Lots of fans noticed that True did call him ‘Snowy’ over FaceTime, but Khloé quickly shut that name suggestion down!
She did however confirm on the show that his name will begin with a 'T' to match True's, carrying on her mom's traditions of naming her kids with the same letter—so that's something!
As viewers will know, his birth was actually caught on camera, with Khloé in the room with her surrogate. We then saw both her and Kim give him cuddles before True got to meet her baby bro over the phone. Cute!
