As mentioned, Lana is 25 and from Luton, which she has traded for a few weeks of sunning herself poolside in South Africa—where winter Love Island is filmed.

Ahead of her reality show stint, her Instagram follower count stood at around three thousand but this number has already skyrocketed to 64 thousand after just a few days in the villa. It's safe to say that the makeup artist is well on her way to having huge success in the beauty biz, just like former bombshell Molly-Mae Hague.

Though due to Love Island's new social media rules, while fans can still follow their fave islanders, they won't receive any updates on their feeds, unlike in previous seasons. The only place you can catch up with the villa antics is on Love Island's official social pages.

In episode eight of Love Island, Lana drank during a game of 'Never Have I Ever' when another islander said they've never been in a relationship or hooked up with a celeb. Clearly curious, Lana's current love interest Ron, quizzed her about who this mystery star was, to which Lana revealed it was I'm A Celeb 2022 contestant, Ollie Warner!

Yep, Lana Jenkins and Ollie Warner (who is also known for a stint on a reality show) did date a few years before Lana entered the Love Island villa in search of a new beau!

According to the Independent, Lana dated Hollyoaks actor Ollie Warner in 2020, ahead of his appearance on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and told the press: "We ended amicably, so I have nothing bad to say in terms of our relationship and the time that we spent together.

“I watched the final and that was it because, obviously he got to the final, so that was amazing, and I thought I’d watch it out of support. But I just thought it’s a bit weird to watch your ex for an hour on telly every evening, so I didn’t bother." We wonder if Ollie will be thinking the same thinking about winter Love Island this year...

She also added: "I did send him a message when he got out and was like, ‘Well done. That’s amazing that you came runner-up.’ So it was nice.”

In the villa, Lana told Ron that she did indeed have a lockdown relationship with him and when asked if she had been in love with him—while she didn't respond—her reaction was very telling!

What was Lana Jenkins' job before Love Island?

Before heading into the villa, Lana worked as a makeup artist and revealed to ITV that she has actually worked with 'lots' of celeb clients in the past!

She also revealed her surprising claim to fame—sharing that when she was six, she featured in an episode of Benidorm.

What's happened in Lana's Love Island Journey so far?

At the beginning of her Love Island journey, things seemed to be going well for Lana after she coupled up with Ron Hall, with whom sparks were flying. In fact, in one of his confessionals, Ron admitted that he could see himself really liking her. 

She also initially caught the eye of Love Island bombshell Tom, who gave her a cheeky smooch during one of the villa dare games. Luckily for Ron though, Tom chose to couple up with Olivia Hawkins, instead of Lana.

However, things didn't stay so rosy, as Ron has his head turned not once but three times, telling Lana he wanted to get to know Zara, Ellie AND Samie (whose necklace is going viral). Lana understandably cooled things off with Ron and then bombshell Casey came in to sweep her off her feet but, despite choosing him over Ron in the latest recoupling—it seems things are quite done between the two.

Alas, from the looks of Love Island First Look, things might not go Casey's wise and we could see Lana and Ron reunite—but for how long we wonder? What with Casa Amor looming...

As for what she initially went in looking for from her time in the villa, perhaps a more accurate question would be 'what Lana wasn't not looking for?' The islander told ITV that one of her biggest icks is when boys trip over or text a question mark if you take a while to reply to their text...

She said: "I don’t mind people texting me all the time but if you send me question marks if I’ve not replied to you in a while, you’re gone. That's a really big red flag for me! Also if I see a guy trip over, that's an instant turn-off."

So far she's been lucky, there has been no tripping over from the boys, though the series is still young...
