'Love Trip: Paris' is the new reality dating series with an Emily Cooper twist
'Love Trip: Paris' is 'Emily in Paris' meets 'The Bachelorette.' (Plus, unlike other reality shows, it actually offers an inclusive look at the dating scene)
Ready to say bonjour to more reality romance? Love Trip: Paris is giving real Emily Cooper vibes, so grab your berets and pour some bubbly.
The Emily in Paris lifestyle has been a major inspiration as of late. On the heels of the popular Netflix show came Real Girlfriends in Paris, Bravo's reality TV equivalent to the fictional series. (Psst: we spoke to the Real Girlfriends in Paris cast to chat about all things French culture.)
Now, a quartet of hopeful romantics is being shipped off to the City of Love for a new dating experiment, and we have the scoop, bébé!
'Love Trip: Paris': everything you need to know
Our screen time is amping up the romance ahead of Valentine's Day. First, we have Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 3, followed by the tumultuous Perfect Match, Netflix's new dating show bringing together singles from other dating competitions, such as Too Hot To Handle and Sexy Beasts. Now, we're also being treated to amorous adventures abroad.
There aren't any marketing jobs this time around, but instead, a few American ex-pats are in search of a romantic partner. Per the official show synopsis: "Four American girls, unlucky in love in their own country, move into a penthouse in the middle of Paris to find a floor of French suitors waiting to date them. Is this love trip to Paris their one-way ticket to romance, or are they headed for heartbreak in another language?"
The quartet is set up in gorgeous French accommodations—not a villa, but a beautiful apartment building—and they'll never truly be able to escape their pursuits, as their potential matches are also living in the building! However, it'll be up to the four women to keep Parisians in or send them out with the hope of others moving in.
How to watch 'Love Trip: Paris':
Love Trip: Paris will premiere on Valentine's Day (no surprise there), Tuesday, February 14, on Freeform at 9pm ET. The series premiere will feature two episodes that night, and subsequent episodes will air on Tuesday at 10pm ET.
Those without access to the channel can catch up with the new episodes the following day on Hulu. Current Hulu subscriptions are priced at $7.99 per month (or $79.99 per year) for the ad-supported plan, or $14.99 per month for the commercial-free option.
If, however, you can't wait until the next day to stream those Francophile adventures on Hulu or if you live in an area where Freeform or Hulu isn't available, you still watch Love Trip: Paris live via a VPN.
A VPN service changes your IP address on your computer, or smart device, allowing you to continue to keep up with your favorite shows from anywhere in the world.
The VPN service we prefer is ExpressVPN, rated as the best in the world by our colleagues at TechRadar. It's simple to use, it's super secure, there's a no-quibble 30-day money-back guarantee and, if you sign up for an annual plan, you'll get an extra three months absolutely free.

Who's in the 'Love Trip: Paris' cast?
You're well-acquainted with Emily, Gabriel, Mindy, etc, but who's who on this new reality dating series? Allow us to introduce you to the Love Trip: Paris cast:
1. Caroline
Caroline is a personal trainer in New York, but she's had enough of the dating scene in the Big Apple. Will she be able to find her woman in a European country? Fans are particularly looking forward to her storyline, as it's an inclusive perspective, which is sometimes hard to find on reality TV dating shows.
2. Rose
Rose might hail from Boston, but the realtor's heart says "France." She's always dreamt of marrying someone French. Will this leading lady from New England meet the passionate man she's looking for while abroad?
3. Lacy
While some of us were caught up making sourdough loaves during the pandemic, Lacy was busy learning the sensual French language—and now she's going to put it to use. The show gets more inclusive with Lacy's presence, as she's chosen not to label her sexuality.
4. Josielyn
Josielyn might be based in L.A. for her modeling career, but she believes her heart is elsewhere. Will she be able to find her other while in Paris?
