Margot Robbie let slip that she used a specific perfume to get into her role as 'Barbie', and while she's currently gatekeeping the brand, we—and fans—have our guesses.
To us, Barbie smells like the epitome of pink. We imagine her leaving an aura of dreamy, gourmand sweetness in her wake—which, Barbie's director, Greta Gerwig said in an interview with MTV, is pretty much exactly what Margot did IRL on set. And, it's not the first time Margot has used a scent to get into character. Before landing the titular role in Barbie, Margot previously revealed that she wore fragrances from Play Boy to channel Harley Quinn, for example—and again brought this same method to the Barbieland.

So, in terms of Margot Robbie's Barbie perfume, Greta gave us this clue: "I could smell her coming in the morning and I was like 'my angel is here'."
While we admit it's not a lot to go on, it did bring a few of the best vanilla perfumes and floral scents to mind...

With it's delicious blend of warm orange blossom, vanilla absolute, luscious marshmallow, rose and amber perfume notes, this scent is a cult classic and definitely gives Barbie vibes.
In fact, several fans commented on MTV's TikTok video, theorizing that this could be Margot's secret Barbie perfume.

If you want a cheaper alternative to Kilian's Love, Don't Be Shy, this one from Dossier—with its similar mix of orange blossom, marshmallow, honeysuckle neroli, amber and vanilla—is a close match! It was also literally inspired by the scent, so it's a no-brainer!

We'd say this was a Barbie staple from the bottle alone (hello, it's pink!) but its blend of pink pepper, iris and ambrox also makes this a sparklingly signature contender!
This scent is also one of the best TikTok perfumes, so it's a win-win!

This perfume features a mix of fruity and floral notes (while also boasting a pastel pink liquid). It's delicate and warm with hints of grapefruit, quince, jasmine and white musks.

The name of this perfume just screams 'Barbie Girl' to us—and has us picturing Barbie sporting a cute pink suede outfit. It features a floral mix of red apple, peony, jasmine and suede.

This scent is a fan favorite in the Replica range, thanks to its blend of black currant liquor, Isparta rose peta and patchouli. It's warm but floral and perfectly Barbie.
Sadly, Zara's Barbie scent (which would have been perfect for this assignment) is still out of stock but we've found some other equally sweet and mouth-watering scents—from Rihanna's favorite perfume to signature numbers like Glossier You.

As the president of Barbieland, Issa Rae's Barbie's deserves an equally empowering and impression-making scent.
This one features notes of head notes of crisp green apple, pink pepper and zesty bergamot, with hints of rose, lilac and ylang-ylang.

For another confidence-oozing but cheaper option, Black Opium commands attention with its intoxicating mix of rich and warm coffee, white flowers and sweet vanilla.
Dua Lipa 'Mermaid Barbie' perfumes

This is a no-brainer for Mermaid Barbie fans as not only is this Dua Lipa's IRL favorite perfume but it's a floral dream.
With notes of lavender, orange blossom and musk accord it's sexy and bold. Naomi says: "It just melts into the skin so beautifully and wraps me in this ambery and lavender aroma that just makes me feel so confident."

For more of a 'mermaidcore' vibe, this scent is inspired by salty, beach air and sun rays with it's blend of bergamot, heliotrope, coconut milk, pink pepper, lemon and musk.
Emma Mackey 'Nobel Prize Barbie' scents

As a lover of science, we reckon Emma Mackey's Barbie prefers botanical scents.
This floral number from Diptyque has notes of musk, iris, ambrette and pink peppercorn. It's also been dubbed a mature swap for Glossier You.

Known as a dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540, this body spray definitely gives Barbie energy with it's fruity and floral makeup. it features summery hints of jasmine, pink dragonfruit and vanilla.
Ryan Gosling 'Ken' perfumes

It's pricey but it's worth it, this rich, dreamy unisex scent features heart notes of violet accord and cardamom, followed by middle notes of iris and ambrox, finished with a base blend of cedarwood, leather and sandalwood.
We reckon such a signature scent is perfect for Ken because he's not "just Ken"...he's Ken.

For equally chic and signature vibes, this smokey scent features bursts of clove oil, chestnut accord and vanilla accord.
