Who is Meghann Fahy? Let's get to know 'The White Lotus' season 2 breakout star
Everyone can't stop talking about *that* Meghann Fahy beach scene from 'The White Lotus' season 2
Move over, Jennifer Coolidge! It looks like Meghann Fahy has officially stolen the spotlight in our favorite fictional hotel franchise.
Even though we just learned who dies in White Lotus season 2—and we're already taking guesses about the next location for The White Lotus season 3—we're still reeling from Fahy's incredibly layered performance as Daphne, a not-so-suppressed housewife of the money-hungry, cheating Cameron (Theo James) in the HBO hit's sophomore season.
While vacationing in Sicily (our "Where was White Lotus filmed?" guide catalogs all of the real-life Italian locations you can visit, FYI), Daphne develops a deep connection with Harper (Aubrey Plaza) and her husband, Ethan (Will Sharpe). Towards the end of the second season, however, lines begin to blur and it's not entirely clear where Daphne stands with her husband, Harper and definitely not Ethan—especially after that mysterious rendezvous between the two at a nearby island. (What really happened between the two?!)
Though manipulative and perhaps not entirely trustworthy (is Cameron really the father of her kids?), there's something about Fahy's character and her authenticity that is causing fans of the series to do a double-take.
"I think the most relatable part of Daphne is just her innate warmth," Fahy told Glamour. "You can really feel her trying with Harper [Aubrey Plaza] to make a connection...And of course, as the season unfolds, you start to see that there’s a lot more going on under the surface than meets the eye."
We have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Meghann Fahy beyond Italy!

Meghann Fahy and Billy Magnussen relationship
Fahy met fellow actor, 37-year-old Billy Magnussen—who you know from movies like Game Night, Aladdin and No Time To Die—while filming the 2011 romantic drama The Lost Valentine. The duo dated from 2017 to 2020 but it appears they have since split, as eagle-eyed fans have noticed they no longer follow each other on Instagram.
Who is Meghann Fahy dating now?
Rumor has it that amid all of the melodrama, money schemes and, yes, murder, romance may have been blooming behind the scenes between two members of the cast of The White Lotus season 2.
Word on the street (and on DeuxMoi) is that Fahy and co-star Leo Woodall, who plays hunky Brit Jack on the show, had a bit of a love connection onset, even reportedly going on vacation together after the season wrapped. The actors have neither confirmed nor denied the dating rumors, but the flirty comments they've been leaving each other across their respective social media handles is very cute evidence.

Meghann Fahy 'The Bold Type' connection
Fahy is best known for her portrayal of up-and-coming stylist, Sutton Brady, who works at Scarlet Magazine and has a very close relationship with the publishing company's higher-up, Richard Hunter.
"I’ve learned a lot through playing her," Fahy told The Wrap. "But it’s funny that that—fashion I would say is one of my biggest things that I struggle with. So to play somebody so comfortable in that environment has been amazing."
And yes, as chummy as she is with her The White Lotus crew, Fahy is just as close to her co-workers from Scarlet in real life: Kat Edison (played by Aisha Dee) and Jane Sloan (played by Katie Stevens). In her recent interview with Glamour, Fahy even mentioned how Stevens came to visit her on the set of The White Lotus and FaceTimed Dee while there (who is currently in Australia). The Scarlet ladies stick together!
