The new moon, December 2022's last hoorah, will light up the night sky several days before the holidays and a few days after the winter solstice. 

The December 2022 full moon at the beginning of the month was a bit triggering, but it forced us to keep an open mind. Now, the "logical" new moon in Capricorn, 2022's final new moon, is asking us to look ahead and take steps in a positive direction. 

"Jupiter's influence on this new moon pushes us to take a confident leap and let the rest figure itself out as we go," says astrologer Noush. "To prepare, set some time aside to write down your resolutions and intentions for the new calendar year before Mercury stations retrograde later in the month."

"Remember, any challenges sent your way are tests, not punishments," Price reminds us. "Rise to the challenge by keeping patient. Rome was not built in a day, and most of the significant issues in your life right now will not be resolved overnight. Be patient with yourself for not having all the answers just yet."

Cancer

Take a cue from the sixth planet from the sun, dear Cancer. 

"You will be receiving a much-needed boost from Saturn during the new moon, meaning you will be craving freedom and excitement more than ever," Price reveals. "Follow your urges and allow yourself to experience pleasure in its purest forms. Your inner child is bursting to come to the surface right now, so let them rise."

Leo

Tap into your creativity, Leo, whether it's through writing, painting, singing or any other form of self expression. 

"Not only will it add to your positivity, but it will also produce new and better results that will surprise you," Price insists. "You will feel very rejuvenated and optimistic around the new moon, and you will be riding a creative high. Don't let this creativity go to waste."

Virgo

Pisces

Right now it's all about strength for you, Pisces. 

"You know who you are and what is important to you, so do not let others step over your boundaries and keep grounded," Price warns. "The vulnerability you have been feeling is not a weakness to be wished away, but a burst of strength during the New Moon will be welcome and just in time."
