Obsessed with the Outer Banks outfits? You're not alone. Outer Banks season 3 is set to deliver a ton of fashion inspo—from Sarah (aka Madelyn Cline) and Kiara's staple denim shorts that belong in all of our capsule wardrobes to John B's iconic button-ups! Here's how to dress like your favorite Pogues, especially with summer on the way...

If you've watched Outer Banks (who hasn't?!), you'll know it follows a group of young people from an island in North Carolina that has a stark divide between rich and poor. The rich side are known as the Kooks while the 'Pogues' are the working class community in the South Side or 'The Cut'. The difference between the two is perfectly summed up by John B in the opening of episode one, where he explains: "The Outer Banks, paradise on Earth. It's the sort of place where you either have two jobs or two houses. Two tribes, one island."

Now three seasons in, we're all pretty familiar with the gang but one thing we need to know more about is how to replicate those cool, beachy fits.

Their outfits give all the summer vacay vibes, while also being practical if you find yourself thrown into an adventure, or perhaps—a treasure hunt! So we've rounded up a few budget-friendly essentials to channel your favorite characters from the show...

Outer Banks outfits: how to dress like your fave Pogue

Much like with The White Lotus' outfits, sometimes we just want to represent our favorite protagonist with our fits!

So, where do we start? Well, considering their coastal location, the Pogues' style is very casual and laid back. Think beachy vibes (or the coastal grandmother aesthetic, with those sea foamy, earthy tones), with t-shirts, shorts, cute crop tops and Hawaiian shirts as staples—not to mention affordable swimwear, of course.

Everything thing feels super comfy yet trendy, which is why, naturally, we'd like to copy and paste John B, Kiara, JJ and the rest of the crew's wardrobes into our own—especially once the warmer weather hits...

1. Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline)

When it comes to Sarah's OBX outfits, think cool surfer girl. Similar to Madelyn's Glass Onion outfits, Sarah can often be spotted in a pair of light-wash denim shorts and a triangle bikini top (very similar top Hailey Bieber's swimwear aesthetic). She also wears her vanilla, almond butter hair in soft, tousled beachy waves to complete her look.

Her chilled looks are definitely supplying all our summer outfit inspo and recreating her look is super easy and most importantly—affordable.

2. John B Routledge (Chase Stokes)

Now onto John B (Chase Stokes), everyone's favorite Pogue. Throughout seasons one and two, his go-to Outer Banks uniform is button-ups—particularly Hawaiian-style printed shirts—and shorts. Plus graphic tees and caps, facing backward, of course.
