Are Richard and Vika from 'Bling Empire: New York' still together?

Are Richard and Vika from Bling Empire: New York still together? They're one of he latest reality TV couples to enter the chat, but they arguably had a tricky time during the first season of the Netflix hit.

We've recently been introduced to the Bling Empire: New York cast, and it already seems that the gang are going through some fairly bumpy times in the love department. For example, has series favorite Dorothy Wang kept her relationship with Ari going strong after her cross-country move? Will Tina Leung be able to put her dating fears aside and pursue romance? There's a lot to uncover, but viewers are hyper-focused on Richard and Vika, and with good reason.

During the first series of the show, we got some sweet moments from the pair, and some slightly less promising moments (yes, you all know the excruciating moment we're thinking of). So with everything Richard and Vika's Bling Empire journey (thus far) had to offer, have they been able to make it through the hard times and come out strong?

What happened between Richard and Vika on 'Bling Empire: New York'?

In the Bling Empire spinoff, we meet Richard Chang, the former director of Calvin Klein’s merchandise planning, who now works at the wellness company, Hudson Medical. He crosses paths with Vika, who is 11 years his junior, and believes that her many previous dates with other people were worth it, because it finally brought her to Richard. At the point of the show being filmed, the pair have been dating for a year—and with his family's blessing, Richard moves forward with his plan to propose.

However, those plans are thwarted pretty quickly in one of the show's cringiest scenes. Though Richard was ready to press fast-forward on their relationship, Vika pressed pause. Mid-proposal—when he shared his plans for their future together—she interrupted to say that she was not ready to tie the knot at 26 years old, saying it was "not a good time."

Ouch! Not only is it painful to have a rejected proposal, but watching it all play out on Netflix cannot be terribly comforting. Since Vika put a kibosh on the whole marriage idea, fans are curious if the two went their separate ways or will spend more time together before promising one another forever.

What's more, there seems to be tension not only between Richard and Vika, but the Bling Empire: New York group as well. When Vika was invited to a tropical girls' trip with Dorothy and Tina, Richard said he was nervous about Vika socializing alone with them. However, voicing his concerns turned into a fight, one in which he called Vika "stupid" for agreeing to participate in the Bahamas trip. The two did not talk while she was away in the Caribbean. 

So after all of that, are Richard and Vika still together?

Yes—it appears that Richard and Vika from Bling Empire: New York are still dating, and that all is going swimmingly between the two, despite the hiccup in their romance that played out in the first season. 

Judging from Instagram, the pair are currently enjoying one another's company while home in New York, and they're also taking time to travel together. 

They were just vacationing in Italy, per Vika's Instagram. And judging from Richard's own social media page, they were shopping at Gucci while there. Talk about a fancy getaway! (Not that we were expecting anything less.) 

Richard and Vika also recently attended New York Fashion Week together too (looking fabulous, if we may say), sharing pictures of themselves at various events on social media. 

So in answer to the question, are Richard and Vika still together, it seems that the answer is yes; and happily so!

Time will tell how it all plays out for the couple, and perhaps we'll get a glimpse of their progress in Bling Empire: New York season 2...if it's in the cards.
