And while she's keeping tight-lipped on her rumored new relationship (if you didn't know, Selena is reportedly dating Drew Taggart), she's very open about her delicate body illustrations and ink dedications. So, here's a guide to some of Selena's tattoos...
How many tattoos does Selena Gomez have?
According to Insider, Selena Gomez is thought to have around 17 tattoos scattered across her body, including on her neck, hips and wrists. Most of her tattoos are on the smaller side, but she does have a few larger tattoos—namely on her back.
Her tats include numbers—often meaningful dates—as well as letters or words and a few illustrations.

Selena Gomez's wrist and arm tattoos
So, let's take a closer look at these tattoos, shall we?
Selena actually has several small tattoos dotted around her wrists and arms—though not as many as Hailey Bieber's tattoos, which cover both of her hands—but still a fair few!
One of these said wrist tattoos is an arrow, which Selena got alongside her friend Julia Michaels, which sits just below their thumbs. She also has a matching semi-colon tattoo on her wrist, with some of the 13 Reasons Why Cast. According to Cosmopolitan, the semicolon stands for Project Semicolon, which is a mental health non-profit organization.

Selena also has a tattoo of the number '4' on her arm, which is again, a matching tattoo that she shares with three of her friends (including Raquelle Stevens).
The meaning behind the number, Selena shared herself, writing: "4 because these women have stayed by my side for 7 years, 4 because you are my 4 for the rest of my life." How cute is that?

She also has a musical note on her right-hand wrist, which she explained to Access Hollywood, saying: "music is a big influence in my life. I was named after a singer, I'm a singer and a lot of other personal reasons."
The newest addition to her tattoo collection, is a matching best friend tattoo with friend Nicola Peltz, with the pair debuting the word "angel" on their forearms, on NYE.
Selena Gomez's neck tattoos
Selena also has a number of neck tattoos, including a cursive "G" behind her left ear, for her sister Gracie, and the date 1976 in roman numerals on the back of her neck.
Her tattoo artist Bang Bang told The Daily Mail that this tattoo, in particular, was in "tribute to a family member"— it's thought that family member is her mom, Mandy Teefey, who was born in 1976.
Selena also has a dainty cross on her collarbone and the word "Rare"—a nod to her hit song and Selena's makeup brand—under her right ear.
Selena Gomez's hip tattoos
On her hips, Selena has a detailed tattoo of two hands, joined in prayer and holding rosary beads—as well as the phrase "God Who Strengthens Me" down her right hip.

Accompanying her wrist and arm tats, Selena also has a few tattoos on her back including a large, pink watercolor rose (again designed and tatted by Bang Bang) and "Love Yourself First" in Arabic on her right side.
Completely her collection, the My Mind & Me star also has "sunshine" inked on her foot.

Interestingly though, Naomi actually has a background in design, having studied illustration at Plymouth University but lept into the media world in 2020, after always having a passion for writing and earned her Gold Standard diploma in Journalism with the NCTJ.
Before working for Future Publishing’s Lifestyle News team, she worked in the Ad production team. Here she wrote and designed adverts on all sorts of things, which then went into print magazines across all genres. Now, when she isn’t writing articles on celebs, fashion trends, or the newest shows on Netflix, you can find her drinking copious cups of coffee, drawing and probably online shopping.
