When is the next Love Island UK? You're likely asking yourself this burning question following the Love Island final and the end of the winter 2023 series this week, which, of the entire Love Island 2023 cast, saw Kai and Sanam crowned winners.

Though we're sad to bid farewell to the South African villa where Love Island is filmed, we're heartened by the fact that summer Love Island 2023 isn't all that far off. And best of all, Maya Jama will be returning as host once again!

Let's be honest—the summer series of the popular dating show is the OG, having spawned most of our favorite cast members and many of the Love Island couples that are still together. While we've loved getting acquainted with the singles (not so much now, we guess) from winter's Love Island UK 2023, from farmer Will Young to actress Olivia Hawkins, we can't wait to meet the new arrivals for the coming summer series—because there's just something about watching the chats, arguments, and blossoming romance of Love Island during the summer, isn't there?

So while the winter series has *literally* only just finished, when is the next Love Island UK exactly?

With the ending of the most recent Love Island series, you'll probably have a big villa-shaped hole in your life, leaving you asking, when is the next Love Island UK?

Given that the winter series has only just finished, we don't yet have confirmation on when exactly we can expect the summer series to hit our screens. However, this isn't our first rodeo, and as we've had so many summer seasons of the ITV show before, we can make a pretty good guess at when it might be on.

As you might expect, the summer 2023 series was confirmed all the way back in June 2022, along with the news of the second winter series, which has obvs just aired. 

Typically, the summer series starts around the first week or two of June, with season 8 starting on 6 June in 2022 for example. So we'd anticipate a similar start date for the next Love Island UK—and of course, as soon as we hear any official news or confirmation, we'll let you know!

It might still sound like a way away, but it's just four short months from now, and we reckon it'll fly by!

In fact, Love Island have already confirmed that the series will return to Mallorca for the summer, and that they're on the hunt for contestants looking to find love; with an Instagram post encouraging people to apply.

When was winter 'Love Island' 2023?

The Love Island 2023 winter series hit screens on Monday 16 January at 9 pm—and of course, ended eight weeks later with the finale on 13 March.

Subsequently, the first episode of Love Island Aftersun—along with its two new panelists Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson—aired on the first Sunday of the show's run (January 22nd).

Of course, we've now said goodbye to our 2023 winter contestants—but fear not, because as with all series', there's set to be a Love Island 2023 reunion to catch up on what the likes of Kai and Sanam, Ron and Lana, Samie and Tom, and Tanya and Shaq get up to after leaving the villa.

So, while the summer season of 2023 Love Island is still months way, it does mean that there's plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the best Love Island UK seasons to rewatch in the meantime—which we guarantee will get you ready for some summer drama in the villa...
