Who is Jenna Lyons' girlfriend? Meet the famous photographer attached to the 'RHONY' star and style icon
Jenna Lyons might've been single at the start of 'RHONY' season 14, but she had her eyes on someone...
There's little intel on Sai De Silva's husband, but what about Jenna Lyons' girlfriend situation?
Now that the RHONY season 14 cast has ushered in a new phase of the franchise, we're anxious to take a peek into the lives of these diverse and inclusive Bravolebrities, starting with J. Crew royalty, Jenna Lyons. As engaging as she is stylish, this fashionista was a no-brainer addition to the RHONY season 14 crew.
"When she comes on the screen, you want to see more of her,” Andy Cohen, Bravo's executive producer, told The New York Times. "She's a real player in New York.”
We'll be treated to an inside look at her SoHo apartment, life mingling with her newfound friend group, and interactions with her son Beckett, but what about Jenna Lyons' relationship status? Here's what you need to know.
Who's Jenna Lyons' girlfriend? All about the 'RHONY' star's relationship
At the start of the new Real Housewives season, Jenna Lyons was attached to someone but kept her name out of the spotlight at her partner's request. During the Sunday, August 20 episode, Lyons details her split from her then-partner.
"I dated this person for almost a year and a half. It has not been consistent,” she said in a confessional. "I think that there were signs. Like you get excited, you believe something is going to be and so when that future goes away, it can be really heartbreaking."
Since the filming of the new season, it appears she's tied to photographer Cass Bird, and they're seemingly going strong. (Let the Instagram feature below from summer 2023 act as proof.) Bird appears to be the perfect creative complement to Lyons, having photographed the likes of Hailey Bieber, Jenna Ortega, and Barbie herself, Miss Margot Robbie. The 49-year-old hails from the West Coast but calls New York home. Bird and her ex-wife Ali, share two children, Leo and Mae.

Who is Jenna Lyons' ex-husband, Vincent Mazeau?
Jenna Lyons was married to artist Vincent Mazeau from 2002 until 2011. They welcomed a son, Beckett Lyons Mazeau, on October 3, 2006.
In 2011, Lyons and Mazeau had reportedly been experiencing marital problems. She had been confiding in friend Courtney Crangi (jeweler Phillip Crangi's sister and business partner), who would eventually become her romantic partner. But before Lyons could make sense of her sexuality and this new phase of her life, an article by The New York Post outed the J. Crew head honcho, and she was forced to confirm or deny her relationship when a reporter called during a business meeting.
For The Cut, Lyons wrote a piece about the experience and said: "Meanwhile, I had no idea what was going on with me. Was I straight? Was I gay? Was I bi? I was tumbling into love with a woman and it was all new and I didn’t have any guideposts. I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t make any definitive decisions for myself around the whole situation."
In a 2017 profile in The New York Times' T Magazine, Lyon revealed that she and Crangi had parted ways after six years together.
Though she might not have had control over how her coming out unfolded, we're glad to see she's decided to be vulnerable about her day-to-day on screens 12 years later. Though the new RHONY season has only recently kicked off—it premiered on Bravo on Sunday, July 16—it seems everyone's in favor of this much-needed refresh.
"To give this reboot weight, they need someone with real New York City, cool, hip vibes to make the show real,” Brian Moylan, the author of The Housewives, told The New York Times.
They certainly succeeded in casting Lyons, who's already poised to be a fan favorite.
Watch how everything unfolds on The Real Housewives of New York City on Sundays at 9pm ET on Bravo, or catch up the next day with the ladies when the episode airs on Peacock.
