Who is Madison Pettis? You’ve definitely seen the 'He’s All That' starlet before
Madison Pettis is the talk of the town for her role in 'He's All That' but she's just getting started
He's All That and Madison Pettis' mean girl antics have '90s babies and the TikTik-obsessed Gen Z equally enthralled.
The cult classic She's All That has been treated to a gender-swapped revival on Netflix, where Pettis makes a splash alongside the film's star, social media sensation Addison Rae. But this is certainly not the first time you've seen Pettis on your screen.
Way back when, circa 2005, she tested her acting chops on a kid-favorite series: Barney & Friends. The 23-year-old also landed on many a Disney Channel project since, including Cory in the House, where she played Sophie, and Phineas and Ferb and The Lion Guard, where she had voice acting roles. You might also recognize her from The Game Plan in 2007, where she acted alongside Dwayne Johnson.
But that was just Pettis getting started: she has since landed roles in Facebook’s Five Points, ABC Family’s The Fosters and American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules, a considerable change from the Disney days.
Now, she has taken on He's All That and the role of a high school Heather named Alden, who bets her friend Padgett (Rae) to turn the school dork Cameron (Tanner Buchanan) into homecoming king. It's during this mean-spirited bet that Alden's true personality shows (not a terribly appealing one at that) and, as you might've expected, things get complicated between Padgett and Cameron.

What's next for Madison Pettis?
No rest for the weary: Madison Pettis recently confessed via Instagram that she has booked back-to-back movies. Fortunately for her—and likely for viewers—they're likely to be a hit. She'll be in Deltopia, a coming-of-age film that Olivia Newton-John will executive produce. Then she'll segue into the horror genre for her first scary movie role in Marguax.
We're anxious to see what awaits Pettis in these forthcoming roles, but for now, you can find us soaking up that rom-com goodness with a binge of He's All That.
