Who is Zendaya dating? The latest on her *dreamy* relationship with Tom Holland plus a recap of her romantic history
Who is Zendaya dating? Why, only your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man...
Wondering about Zendaya's dating history? While it's hard to remember a reality before Zendaya and Tom Holland's relationship (in fact, we make a point not to), the two-time Emmy-winning actress has actually been linked to a few other notable names. So, as Zendaya and her Spidey co-star continue to leave fans swooning in their wake, here's a deep dive into her romantic sitch—past and present.
Now, we can all remember that iconic day back in 2021, when Spider-Man fans had their worlds well and truly rocked by the discovery that MJ and Peter Parker were not only on-screen love interests but also an item IRL. Their relationship has become that of legend and we can safely say, if they ever break up—we and the internet will never recover.
And while no, it doesn't look like Zendaya marrying Tom Holland is on the cards for the immediate future, their recent public appearances prove their still going strong. But since we're on the Zendaya dating subject, let's have a refresher on her relationship history...
Who is Zendaya dating now?
This is an easy one! Zendaya is dating her Spider-Man co-star, Tom Holland, and has been for over two years now (if you need a laugh, do yourself a favor and peruse these Tom Holland memes).
From the moment they appeared on screen together as the iconic Marvel love interests— MJ and Peter Parker—fans 'shipped' them together. But in July 2021, dreams came true across the globe after Page Six published pictures of the two kissing in a car.
And so, 'Tomdaya' was born, with the pair swiftly becoming the ultimate couple goals—from their adorable Spiderman press interviews and Instagram dedications—one of which saw Tom dub Zendaya "My MJ"—to those swoon-worthy red-carpet moments.
While things have been a little quiet on the Tomdaya front lately, with Tom's break from social media, we do know that the pair are now living together, with Zendaya having moved into Tom's $3 million London pad. In an interview with The Sun on April 8, 2023, Zendaya even shared a rare glimpse into their home life together, saying: "He is really good in the kitchen, which is fortunate as I am really accident-prone. We learnt early on that only one of us could be in the kitchen at a time. We are both control freaks, so we can’t be in there together." Cute!
And while the internet is packed with fans manifesting wedding bells between them, we'll all need to just be contented with their red-carpet moments...
Zendaya's dating history: who has she dated previously?
So, aside from Tom, who else has Zendaya dated? While the actress is understandably very private about her love life, she has been the subject of one or two romance rumors, including some speculation about her and Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi.
Zendaya and Jacob Elordi
In 2019, it was first reported that Zendaya and Jacob (who plays Nate Jacobs in Euphoria) were dating after they were both spotted vacationing together in Greece. Speculation was then fuelled even further after they were seen enjoying a cute PDA-filled walk in NYC in February 2020.
However, they both denied these romance rumors, with Jacob going on to date model Kaia Gerber—who is now Austin Butler's girlfriend.
Odell Beckham Jr
Before the Jacob rumors, Zendaya was also linked to NFL star, Odell Beckham JR back in 2016, after they were spotted looking cozy at the Grammys' afterparty before leaving together.
These rumors were again, never confirmed.
Trevor Jackson
After starring in Trevor Jackson's 2013 music video "Like We Grown," it was reported that Zendaya and the Grown-ish star were also dating, though the actress rebuffed these claims, telling Hip Hollywood: "There's going to be those [rumours]. But he's my best friend in the whole world. I love him to death . . . That's all it is."
Zendaya also confessed in 2017 to having a secret, four-year relationship that ended in 2016, calling the mystery guy her "first love."
Without naming any names, she told Vogue: "It was my first love, it wasn’t a good ending,“ before adding, "You know you’re OK in a breakup when your first thought is not, 'What did I do wrong?' It’s, 'That was the dumbest decision of your life, and you’re going to regret it forever.'”—never has a sentence been more accurate.
