You really can’t go wrong with a star-spangled manicure for the big day. Not only do they represent the 50 stars of the US flag, but they’re also seriously cute and versatile—so they’ll last well after 4th July.

You can either go bold with red, white and blue stars or opt for just pastel blue or even gold or silver.
2. Lines

Another classic design, lines will always be a winner and a recognizable tribute to the American flag. If you want something subtle, you can opt for wavy abstract lines—which are also a summer nail trend by the way.
3. Stars, Line and dots

Of course, you can also combine the first two and add some dots for a very cute, full-on USA-inspired manicure. As we see above, having each pattern on different nails is definitely the way to go and can be easily recreated with the help of a fine nail brush and a steady hand.

4.Tie-dye
These tie-dye nails are soo cute and actually quite easy to recreate at home—all you need is a nail brush and a nail stamper, plus your three main colors. Simply mix the colors on your stamper until you have your designed effect and then press onto your nail, follow up with a top coat and voila! You’re July 4th ready.

A simple blue, gold or red jewel on top of a clear, nude, or white basecoat is also perfect and very straightforward. Or just opt for glitter—it’s simple and elegant, yet effective.
