What's going on with the Adele tour? 2022 dates have been rescheduled

Rumor has it the Adele tour 2022 is back on. 

Although fans were disappointed at the cancellation of Weekends With Adele earlier this year, the queen of the breakup song is making it up to her loyal devotees with new dates for her Las Vegas residency. 

"Words can’t explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows," she said on social media. "I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them."

Adele tour 2022: What's going on?

Weekends With Adele was slotted to begin on January 21, 2022, but one day before the three-month-long series, the "Easy on Me" singer was forced to delay the performances. 

"I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready," she said in a January 20 video on social media. "We've tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time, and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID."

It was a shock to fans, especially ones who had already made their way to Vegas and spent a considerable amount on airfare and accommodations. 

Now, Weekends with Adele will take place from November 18, 2022 to March 25, 2023 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The original 24 shows that were cancelled are back on, in addition to eight new shows. According to the singer's website, priority will be given to those who had tickets to the cancelled shows and those who were waitlisted for the Weekends With Adele Verified Fan Presale.

According to Ticketmaster, all existing tickets are still valid and will be honored for their new date. Additional tickets will be available across all 32 performances as well.

Refunded Fans Presale: Wednesday, August 10

This is only available to those who bought tickets via Ticketmaster.com during the previous Adele Verified Fan Presale and have had them refunded. Fans have between the hours of 10am PST and 10pm PST.

General Verified Fan Presale: Thursday, August 11

This is only available to those who registered and were waitlisted or unable to purchase tickets. Fans have between the hours of 10am PST and 10pm PST.

Other important dates

Per Ticketmaster, if you were eligible for the Refunded Fans Presale or the General Verified Fan Presale, you will have until Sunday, August 7 at 11:59pm PST to register for new and rescheduled performances. Refunded Fans Presale invitations and codes will be delivered on Tuesday, August 9.
