Billie Eilish is making history as the youngest Glastonbury headliner in 2022
Okay, so when can we buy tickets?
Billie Eilish has been named as the headliner act for Glastonbury 2022, making her the youngest star to ever headline at the festival.
Billie has just been going from strength to strength—she floored us all with her stunning Met Gala 2021 look, broke the internet repeatedly this year with her new platinum blonde hair, and even brought out her second album, Happier Than Ever.
And did we also mention she has seven Grammys to her name? Well, now the Bad Guy singer is taking her place in music festival history, headlining the stage that the likes of Beyonce and Adele have done before.
Glastonbury’s organizer Emily Eavis took to Twitter to confirm the booking, saying: "We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wondrous @billieeilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year's Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history. This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait!”

Billie also took to her Instagram story to seemingly confirm the news, wearing a Glastonbury hoodie with the caption “2022”.
Glastonbury’s official Twitter has also posted the first poster for the festival, just featuring Billie’s name—so we’ll likely be getting the rest of the acts released in the coming weeks, but we’re already completely sold with Billie.
We are very excited to confirm that @billieeilish will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night at Glastonbury 2022, to become the Festival's youngest ever solo headliner. This will be her first UK festival headline performance. pic.twitter.com/k307gNKyAUOctober 4, 2021
The singer made her very first appearance at Glastonbury in 2019 and rocked it, receiving glowing reviews from critics and fans all over the world.
Taylor Swift was booked to headline in 2020, but sadly due to Covid, Glasto was canceled, and again in 2021. There's no news yet if Taylor Swift will be rebooked for 2022, but can you imagine—Billie and Taylor in the same line-up? We've got chills.
Either way, the festival is returning with a bang on the 24th of June 2022, and we’re already thinking about how and when we can buy our tickets...
