Boy Smells has launched its first ever fragrances and we're seriously excited
Your favorite cult candle brand Boy Smells has just dropped five brand new fragrances
Easily one of the most popular scented candle brands of the moment, Boy Smells is branching into equally millennial pink fragrances – and they're available to shop now. (Do you think we can justify buying them all at once?)
Based on their signature "genderful" scents, the new "Cologne de Parfums" combine both masculine and feminine notes for a modern approach to fine fragrances. The first five fragrances are called Suede Pony, Rose Load, Flor de la Virgen, Violet Ends, and Tantrum. We're already obsessed.
"At Boy Smells we embrace a wider view of identity, encouraging everyone to radiate their true selves," the brand's co-founder Matthew Herman said in a statement on the launch. "We are thrilled to present our debut line of fine fragrances, which embraces complex scent structures that reflect the multifacetedness of modern identity."

"Creating these fragrances was an exciting and welcome challenge as I was given the kind of freedom and creativity I'm most inspired by," perfumer Jérôme Epinette added. "I wanted to take classically masculine and classically feminine notes and somewhat subvert them to produce something more modern, but also multifaceted, so that I could really play with the idea of 'genderfulness'."
What do the new Boy Smells perfumes smell like?
- Suede Pony – notes of suede, leather, amber and labdanum
- Rose Load – notes of pink peppercorn, rose, raspberry blossom and woods
- Violet Ends – notes of violet, papyrus, rhubarb and tobacco
- Tantrum – green and black peppercorns, cedar and vetiver
- Flor de la Virgen – jasmine, musks and pomelo
