It's officially Hot Girl Summer so if you're ready to hit the town whilst having fun with your make-up, take inspiration from all your faves like Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Selena Gomez who are all about a subtle-glam eyeshadow look.

We know that using eye makeup (and one of the best eyeshadow palettes, like the Urban Decay Prince palette) in the right way can tie together an entire look. But the idea of putting together anything other than a smoky eye can instil fear even in those that know their way around said palettes.

For the past year the "no makeup" look took over our beauty routine, but as summertime rolls up, stars are showing that you can still have a natural look with a twist. Most of us can appreciate good makeup tips and tricks, and who better than some of the hottest stars to show us?

Gigi Hadid's simple neon look

Neon colors are big for 2021, as it expertly displayed by Gigi Hadid who wears a bright neon orange in the corners of her eyes which compliments them and her skin tone too.

Follow her lead and don't go over the top. The key to this look is keeping things natural and simple, which pulls focus on your eyes.

Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez's natural smoky eye

Natural makeup looks are still very relevant this season and Hailey proves this. In her Instagram post, she wears minimal mascara and uses a natural brown tone around her entire eye to create a natural smoky eye look.

With something as versatile as this look you can top it off with your favorite chapstick or nude lipgloss to add a shimmery effect to your final look.

The beauty of this natural smoky eye look is that there are no rules. You can tone things down or amp them up depending on your occasion. If you want to go bigger (quite literally) take a note from Selena who was all about the darker brown, bolder mascara, and much smokier finish.

Whether you're just starting out or are a makeup pro, you could even use one of the best eyeliners for beginners to add a touch more drama to the finished look.
