CeraVe's Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum is *finally* available in the UK

Major beauty news alert! Another iconic skincare product has just made its way across the pond in the form of the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum. As someone who's a massive fan of the brand, I for one was very excited to get my hands on it.

The brand launched on UK shores back in 2018 and it's fast become one of the most popular skincare brands thanks to its effective products, small price tags and, well, TikTok. CeraVe is loved by beauty editors across the land, myself included – I use the Hydrating Cleanser daily and the hand cream is my all time favourite (especially with all that hand washing we're doing at the moment, know what I'm saying?).

Despite being its name, the new CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a lot creamier than you may expect from a serum, but your skin feels softer in an instant and it soaks in with ease. No greasy residues here, folks.

The HA serums you know and love are often clear and fairly runny, but this is like an ultra-light face cream. The brand itself refers to the formula as a "hybrid" because it's enriched with emollients.

The latest CeraVe product to launch in the UK, this creamy serum immediately softens skin.

"The concept of a serum is to deliver a high concentration of active ingredients into the skin," explains CeraVe's co-founder Tom Allison. "Watery serums can prove tricky to apply and evenly distribute across the entire face.

"[This serum] was designed with dermatologists, focusing on lightweight emollients for a creamy serum texture that will spread easily and evenly across the face to effectively lock in moisture for all-day hydration."

As the heavy lifters of your skincare routine, treatment serums can be pretty expensive but CeraVe's HA offering comes in at just £17.

The Cerave Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum is available now at Lookfantastic, Feelunique and Superdrug
