Emily in Paris star Lucas Bravo just dropped a major hint about season 2
The actor revealed a twist to Emily and Camille's relationship
The star of hit Netflix series Lucas Bravo has just revealed a major hint about Emily in Paris season 2.
If you know what's good for you, you'll have binge-watched the entire first season of hit Netflix series Emily In Paris by now. Played by Lily Colins, the protagonist Emily Cooper is, well, a bit like marmite. But whether you love or hate her (and her unrealistic representation of life as a social media executive), one thing's for sure - the show's addictive.
Clearly, many others agree as it became the most streamed show on Netflix during its first week of release. And now, one of the stars of the series set in the French capital has dropped a major hint about a potential twist to one of the biggest storylines, Emily's love life.
If you've yet to watch the show and want to avoid spoilers, now's the time to look away. Those of us who have will know that the end of the first season left us with a giant cliffhanger as Gabriel, Emily's neighbour and true love interest, ended up staying in Paris after all, making their dynamic slightly awkward considering they slept together as a final goodbye. And what about Camille, Gabriel's girlfriend and Emily's first French friend. If it was messy before, it's about to get a whole lost messier.
Throwing even more of a spanner in the works, Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel, revealed his own theory about what will happen next between the three characters.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan US, he said: "We planted a few seeds about different characters. Like Camille, when she kisses Emily on the mouth, and she's like, 'Oh, I'm not sorry.' And then when [Emily and Camille] they're in bed, and I'm liking the picture, it's all little seeds. Anything could happen between the three of them. I think Darren [Star, the show's creator] wants this second season to be really open-minded. He wants to explore different things and make it realistic of what the world is now."
Hmm, sounds to us like he's suggesting all three of them could start a relationship? Or maybe they'll just have a threesome? Who knows. But he certainly isn't the only one who saw a spark between Emily and Camille. Many fans have actually been expressing on Twitter that the ladies could be the real #couplegoals of the show.
I can’t believe I watched all of Emily in Paris in anticipation of the Emily/Gabriel/Camille threesome and it simply did not happen?? Emily and Camille accidentally kissed for nothing?? Jokes about Camille hitting on Emily only to end in HETEROSEXUALITY??? I am livid!!!October 12, 2020
"Emily and camille should’ve gotten together in emilyinparis," one fan tweeted. Meanwhile another had the same theory as Lucas from the jump, tweeting: "I can’t believe I watched all of Emily in Paris in anticipation of the Emily/Gabriel/Camille threesome and it simply did not happen?? Emily and Camille accidentally kissed for nothing?? Jokes about Camille hitting on Emily only to end in HETEROSEXUALITY??? I am livid!!!"
Well, it looks like there might be hope after all. Season 2 can't come soon enough!
