‘Emily in Paris’ season three finally has a teaser trailer and we’re très excited
From the looks of this ‘Emily in Paris’ season three trailer, our Emily has some big decisions to make…
Get ready for love triangles and wispy bangs because Emily is back and, so far, still in Paris after that dramatic season two cliffhanger. Now, after all our wondering and waiting, Netflix has treated us to the first Emily in Paris season three trailer and from the looks of it, all our favorite cast members and heartthrobs are returning…
For those who need a refresher, we left Emily grappling with a major decision—to stay or to go. Should she return to Chicago and her old life, or stay in Paris (where, big surprise, Emily in Paris is filmed) and work with Sylvie, Luc and Julian in their new rival advertising agency—and then of course there’s also the question of Gabrielle or Alfie.
In the last installment, we saw Emily run to tell Gabrielle that there was a chance she would be staying in Paris after all—only to find him reconciled with her ex-girlfriend Camille, making her seriously consider just returning home to the US after all.
So, what does she decide? From the looks of this teaser trailer, season three will be all about her agonizing over her big decision but in a very relatable turn of events, the only thing Emily won’t ponder over is cutting in a new fringe hairstyle in a rosé-fuelled moment of weakness—which definitely signifies a new Emily era.
The fringe is très chic and classic ‘French girl’ vibes which could mean she decides to stay after all...
In fact, Lily Collins hinted to Byrdie that Emily’s hair is a direct representation of her personality—so in season one it was perfect, barrel curls, very classic Hollywood whereas in season three it’s more natural and well, French.
She said: “Every season she starts to get inspired by different people: Season one was a lot of American icons, cinematic women that she admired. Season two was more about French icons."

The trailer also answers a number of our questions surrounding which cast members will return for the third installment. We see the likes of Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Madeline (Kate Walsh), Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), Gabrielle (Lucas Bravo) and of course Emily’s best friend and roommate Ashley (Mindy Chen) all reprising their roles.
And just to top off all that excitement, we’ve also got a release date—set your calendars for December 21st people!
