This TikTok famous body scrub helps with bumpy skin and ingrown hairs
Is the latest viral TikTok product part of your beauty regime yet?
A body scrub is being praised on TikTok for its ability to get rid of pesky skin ailments like ingrown hairs and chicken skin.
We all know that the app is a gold mine for beauty finds (among other things). It has brought us everything from space girl make-up to this winged eyeliner hack, the DIY dark circles trend and rice water for hair.
But the latest product to become "TikTok famous" comes from First Aid Beauty – the cult skincare brand that paid off more than a million dollars worth of student debt last year.
People are now raving about the brand's Body Bump Eraser body scrub on the app, with videos praising it as a wonder product for achieving smooth skin. Because that's the dream, right?
- These are the best moisturizers for dry skin to hydrate and fix a flaky complexion
- This is how to deal with winter skin, according to the experts
The scrub contains a 10% concentration of alpha-hydroxy acids, namely glycolic and lactic acids that help to slough off dead skin cells, as well as fine pumice grounds for both chemical and physical exfoliation. A two pronged attack against rough and bumpy skin, if you will.
It's a great choice for helping with skin issues like keratosis pilaris and "strawberry skin" and ingrown hairs. One user enthused: "this has smoothed my skin so much", while another praised it for keeping her skin soft after giving birth. The latter clip received more than 340,000 views and 23,000 likes when the video was reposted to the brand's account.
