Though the spooky season is officially over for another year, at least we have been treated to some incredible celebrity Halloween costumes, and none more so than Harry Styles’ Gucci Dorothy costume that will live rent-free in our minds forever.
Yes, the Watermelon Sugar signer dressed up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and his costume was full-on Gucci. No stranger to the brand, he is often seen dressed head-to-toe in Gucci and is likely a huge reason why Gucci was named the most popular brand of 2020. He’s worn Gucci to the Grammys, in a music video with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and even starred in a Gucci film.
Harry’s Love On Tour has seen so many viral moments, like him giving out dating advice—which we all need to read—to doing the cutest baby gender reveals, but this has to be our favorite so far.
Harry treated his fans to the look at his Madison Square Gardens concert and named the occasion ‘Harryween’—which is just what we’re going to call Halloween from now on.
Lucky Styles stans were also given a special rendition of ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’ the iconic song from the 1939 movie, which stars Judy Garland.
The gingham look was created by stylist and celeb favorite, Harry Lambert and featured all of the iconic details synonymous with the classic character. Including Dorothy’s matching gingham bow and ruby slippers. There was even a toy of Toto the dog in a cute wicker basket, which Harry brought on stage.
Harry posted the Dorothy-inspired look to his Instagram feed and also posted a picture to his story, surrounded by fellow Oz Characters, like the Wicked Witch of the West, the Scarecrow, and Tin-man.
He captioned the post: “HARRYWEEN. New York City, NY. I” and the post has now accumulated over 5 million likes and thousands of comments. As you can imagine, fans loved his Halloween contribution.
One fan commented: “Dorothy’s never looked better.”
Another said: “WE’VE BEEN BLESSED TODAY.”
Even Amazon Prime’s account commented saying: “Best Harryween gift ever.”
