How to watch the Kids' Choice Awards 2021
Get ready for slime time (plus BTS and Bieber)
Here's everything you need to know about the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2021, including how you can watch it, what to expect and all the performers and nominees.
Kids' Choice Awards 2021: what to expect
This year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will be taking place this weekend on Saturday 13 March (the night before the Grammys) and, just like last year, the show will be held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic.
The KCAs will be hosted by Nickelodeon legend and All That star—turned Saturday Night Live cast member—Kenan Thompson. The event will include live and interactive fan walls to bring celebrities and families at home onto the stage.
Fans can vote for their faves on Twitter and at KidsChoiceAwards.com. During the broadcast there'll be a second screen for live voting, so voting can continue until the very last minute. There'll also be a special KCA Award presented to a lucky fan at home.
According to Nickelodeon, the show will “take fans on a wild ride around the world and beyond", with virtual travels to outer space, Bikini Bottom and right into celebrities’ homes using XR technology.
KCA 2021 performers and presenters
As for the virtual attendees, there certainly won't be a shortage of celebrities on the night—both as performers and presenting the awards. Of all the famous faces handing out awards, one of the most talked about is Kim Kardashian.
The reality TV star's attendance at the Kids' Choice Awards will be Kim's first public appearance since filing for divorce from husband, Kanye West, which naturally, has had many people talking. She won't be the only A-lister there—we hear Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, will be there, as well as fellow superhero Iron Man—Robert Downey Jr.
That's nowhere near all. Also due to pop up at the event are Millie Bobby Brown, JoJo Siwa, K-pop legends BTS, Charli D’Amelio, Hailey Bieber, Addison Rae, Sofía Vergara, David Dobrik, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tiffany Haddish, Anna Kendrick, Liza Koshy, Jennifer Garner, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews, Tyler Perry (recently name-checked as the Meghan and Harry benefactor), Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Marsai Martin, Joshua Bassett, Anthony Anderson, Dani & Dannah Lane, and Iain Armitage... phew!
The cast of hit Nickelodeon show iCarly—including Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress—will also be there on the night, to present the award for Favourite Movie.

Justin Bieber at the Kids' Choice Awards
One of the most exciting performances of the night will be courtesy of Justin Bieber, who is also the most nominated artist this year with four nods. The event marks 10 years since Biebs was first nominated for an award at the show. He'll be performing his most recent hit single, 'Anybody'.
"The Kids' Choice Awards was my first awards show and returning to share my new music is a full-circle moment," he said in a statement, E! reports. "Although the show may look different this year, the KCAs are always a ton of fun and there will definitely be no shortage of slime!"
