Adele's every move sparks a social media freak-out and her latest appearances have had us all wondering: "Is Adele engaged?!"
The "Easy on Me" singer, who recently won three awards (including Album of the Year) at the Brit Awards 2020 on Tuesday, February 8, looked like the musical royalty that she is while walking the award show's red carpet, wearing a custom Armani gown, her trademark liquid liner, and a certain eye-catching accessory that has got jaws dropping and mouths talking.
The singer sported a huge pear-shaped diamond ring on her left ring finger, leading many folks to believe that Adele and boyfriend Rich Paul have recently become engaged. (Paul did not join his beau at the Brits, however.)

Is Adele engaged?
The musician and the NBA sports agent went public with their relationship in summer 2021, though they met through mutual friends years prior. Adele officially divorced her ex-hubby Simon Konecki in March 2021; the two share custody of their nine-year-old son, Angelo.
The engagement rumors come after weeks of gossip about a "rocky patch" occurring between the pair, which Adele herself shut down during an Instagram post announcing her Brit Awards performance.
The caption pointedly read: "Hiya, so I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!! Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham for a chat on the couch while I’m in town too! I’m looking forward to it! Oh, and Rich sends his love ♥️"
Fans have been, understandably, freaking out across social media, with one taking to Twitter: "ADELE OH MY GOD wait a min- is she engaged? Did I miss something?" Another wrote: "Finding out Adele and Maya Jama engaged on the same night. I really wasn’t prepared for this."
The Brit Awards appearance was the first public appearance the "Someone Like You" singer has made since the whole Adele tour 2022 kerfuffle, in which the performer announced she was canceling her much-anticipated Las Vegas residency only a day before its kick-off due to COVID-related constraints. In an Instagram video, a teary Adele said: "I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready."

Is Adele pregnant?
Like Adele mentioned in her Instagram video, she did, in fact, sit down with host Graham Norton on The Graham Norton Show, airing Friday, February 11, to discuss the Las Vegas residency, that engagement gossip and her plans for the near future.
When asked about the enormous rock on her finger, Adele joked: "As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't!" Playing coy, she did admit, "It's lovely though, innit?" It is indeed!
She did offer up a bit of intel into her relationship with Rich Paul when she revealed that her rescheduled Las Vegas residency "100-percent" will happen in 2022 because she's planning for a baby in 2023!
"[The shows] are absolutely happening this year. I want a baby next year," she told a shocked Norton. "I have plans next year, I have plans! Imagine I have to cancel shows because I'm having a baby?!"
