Kate Spade NY's happy dance is taking over social media
In an effort to spread joy this summer, Kate Spade is serving bright colors and attempting to support those who were hit hardest during the COVID-19 pandemic
If you need a boost of serotonin today, then we highly recommend checking out Kate Spade New York's latest summer campaign, which has been quickly been labeled the "Kate Spade NY happy dance".
What started out as a simple summer campaign to advertise the fashion brand's latest collection has grown into one of TikTok's most popular trends as artists and performers share their favorite Kate Spade pieces alongside a choreographed dance.
NYC performers have joined in sharing with their followers their best Kate Spade NY happy dance while wearing their favorite pieces from the brand's latest collection.
"Who’s gonna duet me?" encouraged one TikToker as he danced with the NYC skyline in the background.

Another TikToker showed off her favorite styles to the Kate Spade NY Happy Dance Song, giving us a glance at the brand's latest sneakers and her monochrome matching lounge set.
"Get happy with me," she wrote in the video.

In addition to the upbeat ad, the brand has decided to partner with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing to help provide Mental Health First Aid training to New York artists, and Kate Spade NY will also be donating $100,000 to help provide mental-health services to performers in and around NYC.
The positive ad comes just in time for Pride Month and practically goes with the rainbow collection the retailer also launched this month.
What is in the Kate Spade NY Pride Collection?
As well as Kate Spade NY's happy dance, we have another reason to get joyful—Kate Spade NY's happy dance, designed especially to celebrate Pride Month. The brand has delivered us a variety of accessories, shoes, and apparel all celebrating love.
To keep up with its social impact mission, Kate Spade NY is also continuing its partnership with The Trevor Project, which is one of the largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning LGBTQ young people. 20% of the proceeds from the Rainbow Collection will also go straight towards the organization.
Pieces range anywhere from $25 (£15) to $198 (£195), so if you're ready to break out into your happy dance, check out our top picks from the collection.
