Lori Harvey gives us a lesson in edgy workwear at Women’s History Month brunch
Lori Harvey's edgy take on workwear tailoring is a whole look
Lori Harvey is known for being a trend-setter—whether it's for prompting the pilates resurgence, inspiring the latest hairstyle trends or breaking the rules of fashion—and her latest look proves she's going nowhere with her trailblazing style after she attended an event in a rather edgy smart-dressy outfit.
Over the weekend, the model and entrepreneur attended a brunch in honor of Women’s History Month, hosted by Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris. The event was attended by "a phenomenal group of trailblazers," according to the Vice President, including Megan Thee Stallion, Simone Ashley and Nicole Ari Parker.

And while we've had a lot of fashion innovation hitting the scene recently, with high-fashion breastplates and sheer dresses taking over recent celeb events, Lori brought another look to this affair, with an edgy take on workwear tailoring...

But it's her latest look that is giving us IRL style inspo—and making us ready to update our capsule wardrobes—thanks to her edgy take on a two-piece suit.
The model took smartwear to another level with her striped gray baggy trouser suit that she paired with a metallic halterneck for a modern but definitely wearable take on the classic suit.

She paired the stylish three-piece with a pair of pointed white shoes—although they're not fully visible underneath the baggy leg style so we're unsure whether they're pumps, stilettos or boots.
How to recreate Lori's look IRL
Want to replicate Lori's modernized workwear look for an upcoming event or your next day in the office? Here are a few picks to help you create the style IRL...
Everlane The Linen Oversized Blazer
RRP: $198
A close copy to Lori's look, this oversized blazer is designed with vertical white stripes for a muted but statement look.
Everlane The Linen Way-High® Drape Pant
RRP: $138
The matching pants feature a baggy wide-leg fit and floor-skimming length, just like Lori's.
& Other Stories Relaxed Single-Breasted Silk Blazer
RRP: $219
This chic relaxed blazer is made from silk for a more dressed up look and feel than the Everlane linen—plus the charcoal gray is a closer match to the color of Lori's suit.
& Other Stories Wide Tailored Press Crease Trousers
RRP: $159
Although these matching wide-leg pants don't come with a stripe design (similar to the above blazer), the loose but tailored fit would do well at replicating Lori's look.
UO Harlow Metal Cropped Top
RRP: $49
Make a statement like Lori in this semi-sheer mesh metal cropped top. Pair it with one of the above suits for a like-for-like outfit.
COS Oversized Wool Blazer
RRP: $250
If you want to replicate the look but opt for a different color palette, this light pink number is the perfect amount of oversized to copy Lori's look.
COS Wide-Leg Pleated Wool Pants
RRP: $150
These matching pants also have a really similar baggy fit to Lori's own trousers—so if you're more interested in copying the exact silhouette than the color and design details, this two-piece is a better option than the grays.
Karen Millen Mirrored Disc Crop Top
RRP: $136
This gold-colored metal disc crop top would make a stylish match for the above light pink suit—recreating Lori's look in a softly edgy way.
