We've been thinking about it all season: does Love is Blind pay for the ring? 

In the midst of the unorthodox experiment, Love Is Blind engagement rings have gone unnoticed (though the accessories are normally pretty significant in the proposal process). 

The dream end goal of Netflix's  Love is Blind is to find a perfect partner, make it down the aisle and live a reality TV "happily ever after," but now viewers are all curious about the jewelry, and understandably so. 

We've just been introduced to the Love Is Blind season 4 couples, and things are off to an intense start. Now, the hopeful romantics are forced to do everything in reverse: a Mexican honeymoon, followed by a real-life courtship. Will it turn out well for those who said "yes"?

Before we find out everyone's fate, let's get to the bottom of this bling business: who foots the bill for those diamonds?

Does 'Love is Blind' pay for the ring?

Short answer, yes, the Love is Blind production team pays for the engagement rings, not the cast. 

"If they want to propose and want to have a ring to give, we provide—up to a certain level—a ring for them to do that with," show creator Chris Coelen told Variety. "If they choose to do that, we actually give choices. There are, like, 10 or 12 different styles and colors. It’s up to them, they don’t have to. There’s no pressure to do that."

Likewise, he revealed to Newsweek: "I don't know how many different kinds of rings, but there's some selection of rings that that we will show to them…and if they want to propose and get engaged, we will give them the opportunity to."

And, of course, there is the option to bring your own ring, as we saw when contestant Kyle Abrams used his mother's ring to propose to Shaina Hurley back in Love is Blind season 2. (Those two have since parted ways, but these are the Love Is Blind couples still together post-pods.)

Where do the 'Love is Blind' engagement rings come from?

All of the jewelry from Love is Blind season 3 was reportedly sourced from Bridal Rings Company out of Los Angeles, California. The season 4 details are mum at this time, but we'll be sure to give you the scoop on the bling as soon as we learn more.
