'Love Island' fans confused after producers zoom into Ikenna's toes

Sunday night's episode of Love Island UK 2022 certainly kicked off on a good note. Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri enjoyed a snuggle, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish spoke about their future trips, and even Ikenna Ekwonna and Indiyah Polack spent some quality time together (here's how to watch Love Island UK if you need to catch up).

However, it's fair to say Gemma's ex-boyfriend Jacques O'Neill entering the villa was the perfect way to shake up the island.

As Paige enjoyed a date with the newcomer, Gemma revealed that the two broke up a year and a half ago after dating for eight months.

While the islanders watched as Jacques went on his dates, many Love Island fans were more focused on expressing their confusion over why producers had previously zoomed into Ikenna's feet while he spoke with Indiyah.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Love island is badmind. How can they zoom in on Ikenna’s toes #Loveisland?"

A second wrote: "WHY DID THE PRODUCERS ZOOM INTO IKENNA TOES?"

"Why did they ZOOM into Ikenna’s toes like that," another said.

A fourth wrote: These producers are evil showing Ikenna wiggling his toes #LoveIsland."

Others wrote: "I swear to you if I have to see Ikenna’a toes one more time… I’ll scream. #LoveIsland," "The zoom in on Ikenna’s toes [crying face emoji]," and "Ikenna got a pedicure and is showing off the toes at every and any opportunity and I can’t be mad because I do the same #LoveIsland."

This isn't the first time Love Island viewers have been focused on his feet. In this season's first episode, Ikenna caused a frenzy when he entered the island wearing crocs.

During a game of dares, Gemma then gave him a foot massage and commented about how large his feet were.

Back to the romance! After bombshell Jacques went to meet the other islanders in tonight's episode, Gemma revealed that she still found her ex attractive and despite being in a couple with Gemma's former island partner, Ekin-Su also revealed that she was interested in getting to know Jacques.

Although Jacques said that he still cares for Gemma, he told Paige that he's not interested in chatting with his ex to reconcile.

Indicating that the two will remain friends, Jacques told Gemma that he would look out for her in the villa, while she told him that Paige would be a great fit for him.

Although the former flames kept things platonic, Gemma's current couple partner Luca appeared to be feeling very stressed about the new arrival.
