Love Island fans delight as Adam causes 'chaos' shortly after arriving in villa

Last night's episode of Love Island 2022 served up a shocking twist that saw former contestant Adam Collard return to the show. This evening, fans got to see the hunky ex-Islander enter the villa and greet the girls while the boys were away on a spa day.

The 26-year-old Geordie—who appeared in season four of the hit show - didn't waste any time in making advances on certain members of the female Love Island line-up. This included having one-to-one conversations with Danica Taylor, Gemma Owen, Tash Ghouri, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Paige Thorne.

It was Adam's conversation with the Welsh paramedic that really got viewers excited about the remainder of Love Island UK season 8 (talking of which, here's how to watch Love Island). As he got chatting to Paige by the pool, it became clear that romance could blossom between the pair.

Paige had previously been enjoying a burgeoning romance with Jacques O'Neill, but then his behavior at Casa Amor threw things off track. The couple had only just made amends the night before Adam walked into the villa. In a teaser for tomorrow night's episode, the two men could already be seen clashing.

Posting on Twitter, one person noted: "Adam just arrived and he’s already causing chaos LOOOL, he understood the assignment." Another agreed: "Adam is really what we needed to revive the DRAMA!!!!"

Those watching at home seemed particularly pleased at how Adam appeared to be warning Paige off Jacques. He pointed out the temptations the latter would have to go through with instant fame when the show comes to an end (here's what we know if you're wondering how long does Love Island UK last?)

Many fans suggested that Adam—who admitted to Gemma that Paige was one of his favorites—could successfully steal Jacques' love interest. What's more, the contestant had herself insisted to the other girls that she was open to getting to know other people, repeating Jacques's point that they are technically both "still single".

One viewer wrote: "Looks like Jacques is getting a taste of his own medicine." Another commented: "LMFAO WHAT IS THIS? JAQUES VS ADAM." A third shared: "AND THE WHOLE OF THE UK REUNITES TO CHEER ADAM ON AGAINST JAQUES." And a fourth added: "Not Jacques squaring up to Adam Collard."
