Now it’s Megan Thee Stallion’s turn after she debuted a sizzling platinum blonde look—and fans lost it.
The "Savage" rapper is having a huge year, having already won three Grammy's this year for Best New Artist, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance with Beyoncé. She also dropped a viral skincare routine and now she’s owning icy blonde hair and giving us major envy.
In a series of Instagram posts, Megan showed her fans what "hot girl summer" really looks like. Her platinum blonde wig look was created by hairstylist Kellon Deryck, and she paired it with a gold cut crease and bold lashes courtesy of Fenty’s global makeup artist, Priscilla Ono.
Megan also wore a number of animal print bodysuits in the posts, and captioned one of them: “Lil thunder cat throw it back he can’t handle dat🐾🔥” (These, of course, are lyrics from her hit "Hot Girl" from the album Tina Snow.) The post now has over one million likes and thousands of comments.
The wig looks indistinguishable from natural hair, with baby hairs flawlessly framing her face. The color suits her so well that we've been served true inspiration for our summer looks. Never have we been so tempted to buy an at-home bleach kit!
