The MTV Movie Awards Best Kiss—a highly anticipated and steamy honor—typically goes to a couple with amazing on-screen chemistry. We were all rooting for Spider-Man and IRL couple Tom Holland and Zendaya to take home the accolade this year, but we were thrown a curveball.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022 aired on June 5, and when it came time to reveal the best lip lock, let's just say it was more hissterical than sexy, if you catch our drift.

This might just be the most infamous snake moment from MTV since Britney Spears in 2001. We're glad such a prestigious and noteworthy accomplishment has been bestowed upon Johnny Knoxville's crew—deservedly so.
"This is a dream come true. Huge thanks to MTV. Huge thanks to Jackass and all the boys,” Poopies (Sean McInerney) said upon accepting his award.
To up the ante, Poopies—a self-proclaimed "big-time movie star"—announced that he and the reptile he shared an intimate encounter with in the movie had called it quits. He now has a new leading lady, a 17-foot python snake, which wranglers brought out on stage so he could give it a little smoocheroo. YIKES!
Remember when Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes got a little hot and heavy during the 2021 awards, putting their relationship status into even more questionable territory? How much did you love the Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen lip lock in 2007? The Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling reenactment of The Notebook in 2005?
So many great kisses, yet all we can think about now is Poopies.
