But now, the world was shocked to learn on Tuesday, July 25, that Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro called off their engagement after she said "yes" in March 2023. Fans asked, "Did Rauw cheat on Rosalía," a claim that the singer denied. 

His lengthy message on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 26, translated from Spanish as: "Yes, a few months ago, Rosi and I ended our engagement. There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup, but in our case, it was not due to the fault of a third party or infidelity.
