While vacationing in Positano, Italy, the actor and singer was spotted getting close with filmmaker Andrea Iervolino. Some are sensing a bit of amore between the two, and now we're curious if this friends to lovers relationship is the real deal.
Sure Gomez might've given her heart to a certain someone in Only Murders in the Building season 2, but fans' attention has quickly shifted to the star's IRL relationship. What better place to find love than Italia, right?!

On August 3, Gomez and Iervolino were captured in many a photograph by the Daily Mail enjoying a yacht excursion in Italy. They got awfully close during lunch on the boat, and Iervolino was seen playfully pulling Gomez into the water. They both appeared to be grinning throughout the duration of their trip.
Now, of course, everyone is curious if this romantic Italian getaway means that the two are something serious. They've been spotted together in the past, once in 2019 for her birthday, and back in 2021. At one point, the two even worked together on the 2016 film Dubious Battle.
Well, we don't mean to put our nose in other people's business, but it does seem like a pretty intimate setting for a day out with a former co-worker, wouldn't you say?
Gomez took tabs at her own love life earlier this year while hosting SNL. Then on TikTok, her nana gave everyone a good chuckle when she was heard asking, "How did you end it with that guy?"
No one is quite sure who "that guy" is but we positively loved Gomez's bashful reaction. (We all have a nosy granny, don't we?) Since whatever relationship Nana is referring to came to a close, that means there's an opportunity to pursue something with Iervolino.
