Sophie Turner has brought back her iconic Game of Thrones look
Redheads definitely have more fun
Hold on to your seats, Game of Thrones fans—because Sophie Turner is back with her signature Sansa Stark look.
The actor is a redhead once more, after ditching her signature platinum blonde and opting for the very shade her character in Game of Thrones once had. She showed off the new look on her Instagram stories, and it looks unreal if you ask us. Now we're questioning our look for the summer...

She paired her new coppery hair with Olivia Rodrigo's new Sour merch, and looked effortlessly cool as usual.
Sophie has been going between blonde and red since 2016, mainly due to roles in things like Game of Thrones and X-Men.
Back in 2018, Sophie shared that going from red to platinum really ‘destroyed’ her hair. This is not surprising as getting it to that really icy, trendy shade takes upwards of six hours and lots of bleaching. Billie Eilish’s hair reportedly took eight hours.
She told ELLE, that she had to have her hair dyed red every week when filming for Game of Thrones, until season seven where she would wear a wig.
However, despite all the work it takes to get there, platinum blonde is having a real moment this season, with everyone from Meghan Thee Stallion to Hilary Duff opting for icy blonde looks. But with all the stress-induced hair loss women have been experiencing during the pandemic, you may want to opt for something a bit less damaging, like Sophie.
As well as showing her new look on Instagram, she was also recently spotted at a baseball game with her husband, Joe Jonas, rocking the red hair with some 90s sunnies and those Insta famous, chunky plastic rings. Not to mention that she also recently got adorable bangs cut, and has basically just become the ultimate hair goal. This sort of hair transformation is what we’re all craving right now.
So instead of opting for the traditional summer blonde, we reckon a redhead trend could be on the horizon this summer.
