After months of wondering what Kylie Jenner's son's name is, the beauty mogul has finally addressed the speculation, after announcing months ago that she was changing his name from 'Wolf' to something else entirely. Though, the reveal may not be what fans were hoping for...

Back on February 2, 2022, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed a baby boy—a younger brother to their daughter Stormi, who was born on February 1, 2018. They then sparked a media storm when they introduced him to the world as Wolf Webster, only to do a massive U-turn a few weeks later.

The couple shocked everyone by announcing that they had changed their mind about his name, explaining it just "didn't feel" like their son. Months then passed, with no new updates on Wolf's name, prompting fans to scour the web for clues—which resulted in some wild conspiracy theories, including claims that his new name was actually Coconut!

Now though, at last, we have an update from Kylie herself—but it's not exactly the big reveal we were hoping for! Here's everything we know...

Why did Kylie Jenner change her son's name?

Jenner's fans were first alerted that her second child had arrived when she shared a sweet black-and-white photo to Instagram. Captioning an image of the newborn's fist, she wrote: "💙 2/2/22."

The star made her social media followers wait a little while to find out what he would be called. However, before long, she had confirmed that he was to be named Wolf Webster.

But within weeks she had dropped a major bomb. Just weeks later, on March 21, she revealed that she and her other half had changed their minds.

Posting on her Instagram Story, the star wrote: "FYI our son's name isn't Wolf anymore. We just really didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere."

What is Kylie Jenner's son's name?

Kylie finally shared an update with fans on the Kardashians season two, revealing that her son's name is actually still Wolf—but they are definitely looking to change it. 

She said: "My baby’s name is still Wolf, I’ll let you guys know when I change it. Maybe I’ll tell you guys in season three." 

So, right now Kylie's son's name is still legally Wolf, but likely not for much longer. Still, fans will have to keep waiting for a new name reveal...

Despite that slightly disappointing update though, we have had a number of interesting name rumors over the last year. At one point fans believed his new name was 'Knight'. According to Capital FM, fans went into a frenzy after an account alleging to be Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's eldest son, Mason, claimed that the couple had changed his name to 'Knight Jacques Webster'.

Another suggestion was that the little boy's name was actually 'Jacob'. This was sparked after Kylie posted some Father's Day tributes to Travis on her Instagram Story, including a video that showed a painting of two stick figures. 

After zooming in on the footage, fans thought they'd found a clue. It appeared as though one of the drawings was labeled 'Daddy' and the other 'Jacob'—although it was a bit too blurry to tell for sure.

There was also, hilariously, the idea that his name was 'Coconut'. At sister Kourtney's wedding in the summer, Kylie posted adorable pictures of her and daughter Stormi to Instagram, with the caption: "Just me, storm, and coconut traveling the world together ✨♥️."

While Kylie's baby boy was nowhere to be seen in images, fans pounced on the inclusion of the name 'Coconut.' One commented "yo did she name her son Coco", while another asked "HIS NAME IS COCONUT?"

It turns out the star was in fact referring to the white-haired doll her little girl was clutching in every picture. Her older sister Khloe Kardashian appeared to confirm this by writing: "Coconut is too cute."

Despite all the secrecy around the name of Kylie and Travis' son, we have been treated to frequent sneak peeks of him. On Easter Sunday, the star gave her fans a glimpse at her family's lavish celebrations—including a rare shot of her newborn son. 

Then, in June, the mum-of-two shared two cryptic images of her little boy. The first Instagram post, to celebrate Father's Day, shows Travis beside Stormi with her older brother on his chest—but with his face obscured by a brown love heart. A second Instagram image shows the tot's sneakers as he is supported by the rapper. 

We're not quite sure when we'll find out his name, or if we'll get to see what he looks like any time soon. Perhaps we'll learn a little more on The Kardashians on Hulu? Be treated to a social media reveal? One thing's for sure, we're waiting on the edge of our seats...
