When is pumpkin spice coming back?
Your morning iced coffee routine is about to get an autumnal makeover. Too soon? Not for the Halloween enthusiasts in us. Here's when your favorite PSL-loving spots will be unleashing their pumpkin spice-flavored drinks and treats, so mark your calendars.
1. Starbucks
Ah, Starbucks—where the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte rose to fame and created a massive divide amongst coffee drinkers. The controversial fall favorite is making its way back to coffee shops across the country on Tuesday, August 24th, so let autumn commence.
The espresso and steamed milk drink is blended to pumpkiny perfection with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and, of course, pumpkin. In addition to the PSL, Starbucks will also bring back its Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, a summer-fall hybrid that is the perfect accompaniment for either the beach or corn maze.
2. Dunkin'
The moment has arrived, folks. Dunkin' is firmly gettin' its fall on with its Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte and the new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, a great transitional summer-to-fall drink if you ask us.
3. Dairy Queen
Get ready for sugar, spice, and everything nice: for a limited time this fall, customers will be able to indulge in The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat—complete with pumpkin pie bits and vanilla soft serve—and Pumpkin Cookie Butter Shake, vanilla soft serve mixed with pumpkin puree and ground cinnamon spice cookies. A date has yet to be announced for its return, but stay tuned.
