Despite swearing off dating costars in a hilarious TikTok with her fellow Riverdale girls (Camila previously dated Charles Melton, meanwhile, Lili Reinhart had a long-term relationship with her on-screen beau Cole Sprouse) fans think Camila, aka Veronic Lodge herself, may have ‘soft launched’ a new romance with her Música leading man.

Initially, the Do Revenge actress sparked an online frenzy in November 2022, by posting a carousel of pics captioned ‘Life updates,’ which featured a pool-side snap of her reflection as she kissed a mystery fella. And while Camila did not tag him in the post nor actually visibly post his face, fans think they’ve sussed out his identity as YouTuber and singer, Rudy Mancuso. 

Now, Camila has teased fans once again with a TikTok, alongside Riverdale co-star Madelaine Petsch featuring their 'boyfriends'—yes we'll get to Madelaine's dating sitch, don't worry!

Let’s turn our attention to the evidence—the picture that initially whipped up romance rumors was posted in November 2022 and sees Camila embracing someone as they kiss her cheek. The mystery man also features in another picture, being jumped on by her dog Truffle. 

In both pictures, his face is obscured, but fans raced to the comments to theorize that it is infact Rudy—his visible tattoos do look very similar to Rudy’s own inks…

Rudy is set to star alongside Camila in the Amazon Studios' rom-com Música, which she's also working on as executive producer.

Fans flocked to the comments to quiz the actress - One wrote, “Is that you and Rudy?!!!” While another fan added: “Is that Rudy Mancuso??? 😳”

The rumored couple was also spotted looking very cozy during their holiday, while they chilled out on the beach, according to Page Six. Rudy was even pictured hugging Camila as they splashed around in the ocean and seemingly kissing her neck...

Despite the theories though, Camila did not tag him in her latest post—that being said though, she did post a TikTok seemingly confirming she has a boyfriend...

In the video, she can be seen having dinner with her co-star and bestie, Madelaine Petsch—with the pair taking turns to film each other sitting in silence and nodding along as their 'boyfriends' talk animatedly about The Batman movie to each other—with the caption: "The moment you realize your boyfriends are becoming best friends."

While we patiently wait for Camila to go Insta official with her new partner, what better time to take a look back on some of her past relationships—especially her most high-profile pairing with this Riverdale co-star…

Charles Melton and Camila Mendes (2018-2019 & kinda 2021)

Like her close on-screen and off-screen pal, Lili Reinhart, Camila also dated one of their Riverdale co-stars, Charles Melton who plays Reggie in the show. 

These two went public with their romance in 2018 with a cozy but now deleted Insta pic, which Camila captioned with the word ‘Mine.’ They dated for over a year, celebrating their anniversary together on August 23rd  with some swoon-worthy tributes and even walked a few red carpets together.

Sadly for stans though, they split in 2019 with E-news reporting the breakup. A source told the publication: “They are taking a break from their relationship,” adding that it, “escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves.”

E! also reported however that they rekindled things briefly in 2021 before parting ways for good.

Camila Mendes and Victor Houston (2018)

Before her relationship with Charles, Camila confirmed in June 2018 that she was dating Victor Houston—who attended a high school near her in Florida, with the pair reconnecting that year. She told E!: “I can confirm, sure, I don’t care.”

It was short-lived though, as they split in August, just a month after Camila confirmed their relationship.
